Flinton Park Equestrian specialises in the training and campaigning of performance horses, lessons and coaching. Located only a short 20-minute drive from Toowoomba set on 40 acres of creek flats to undulating hills.

Kylie Zabel has been instructing for over 10 years and has a wealth of experience in the horse industry. Kylie is a qualified instructor and carries appropriate insurance and first aid certificate.
Kylie’s passion lies with bring on young horses and retaining of Off The Track Thoroughbreds. With having over 30 years of riding experience, she knows how to get the best out of your horse.
Horses in training receive daily training and riding, both within an arena and out on the trail. Gentle methods with patience to create a soft, calm and willing horse.
Kylie enjoys watching your horse continually improve and being part of his future success. From bringing horses back in to work, working with problems, taking your horse to his first shows or just polishing his education she can help.
Lessons & Times
We offer horse riding lessons on our school ponies and horses and more specialised coaching for the experienced riders on our horses or bring your own. We welcome all ages and experiences, including adult riders.
Age and experience appropriate riding lessons and instruction for the children and will include where appropriate how to catch, lead and groom, saddle, bridle and mount correctly, washing and feeding horses.
Group Sessions are: Tuesday and Friday’s 4:00-5:00pm Autumn/Winter | 5:00pm-6:00pm Summer/Spring.
After school sessions are: Mon to Fri 3:30pm-4:15pm and 4:15pm-5:00pm, plus 5:00pm-5:45pm summer/spring.
School holiday one day camps are available. Children and adult lessons are also available on weekends, and other times during the weekdays. Please phone or email to arrange.
Coaching & Times
Specialised coaching available for the more experienced riders on either our school horses or bring your own. Topics include: Showjumping | Cattle work (dry) | Challenge work | Reining | Flat work | Horsemanship | Sporting events | Mounted Games. Kylie has several years of successful experience in the disciplines, including being a three-time Australian Representative in Mounted Games, having competed in Sweden, United Kingdom and New Zealand.
