Following on from our last post, they say old mares cannot produce quality racehorses…… Malaguerra was Tennessee Morns 16th foal and her dam was 20 at the time!
Tennessee Mischief (pictured) is 19yo. Malaguerra’s stable name was Big Mal so we have named this colt “Little Mal”…. he’s not little😂
Top effort from Galgani who has run second in the Leilani Series Final at Flemington two years running. Trained by Nikki Burke Racing, ridden by Blaike McDougall
Swear x Aringarosa filly
We love seeing our graduates handle their starting process well! We spend the time educating our babies so they take everything in their stride. When they’re ready to be started they find the process less stressful which is a very good thing for horse and trainer 🥰
This Swear/Aringarosa filly was purchased by Express Racing and Nick Ryan Racing at this year’s Inglis Gold Yearling Sale to be raced by Nick Ryan at Flemington.
She’s done it again! Jumped well and led the entire race. We are so proud of this amazing mare by Magnus out of Mytika. Congratulations Mick Kent Racing Stables Dr Dawn Giltinan, Graham Loader, the reat of the ownership team, jockey Ethan Brown and all other connections.
Comica (Magnus/Mytika) wins by 2 lengths tonight in race 4 at Pakenham Racing Club! Congratulations Mick Kent Racing Stables, jockey Jackie Beriman, Dr Dawn Giltinan, Graham Loader and all other owners and connections.

It’s a great day for a ride 🐴 ☀️ Our farm manager Tori is riding her OTT Stevie, who raced as “Toss and Tell”.
We have some off the track thoroughbreds coming into work shortly. They’ve had a well deserved break in the paddocks, and now they’re ready for a new career. Stay tuned for their listings in the coming months.
It’s like a scene from The Man From Snowy River. Watching the yearlings return to their paddocks never gets old.
Unfortunately the walkout to Woodside Park Stud had to be cancelled due to rising floodwaters across the North East. This is a creek in flood, we didn’t get as far as the Goulburn River.
Stay safe everyone!
