Today we farewell our big stud boy Dallas. He is going to a new home with lots of new girls. I whispered in his ear new girls and he jumped straight on the trailer.

Today is a sad day. A first time mum has lost her little man only less than 48 hours old. Not sure exactly what happened, but appears mum may have accidentally laid on him
She was such a good mum, but did always lay so they were touching each other.
RIP little man, you were well loved 😭💔

We have made the hardest decision to sell one of my stud rams. Snickers is up for sale.
We are down sizing after this lambing period to give everyone time for a break.

Snickers is 100% Southdown, with all your babydoll characteristics. His dad is a pure-bred graded ram with the BSBA.

So after 6 months of no animals, fertiliser and mulching up the left over round bales this is what a paddock can look like. 😁
Now I have put mums and babies in there, but the issue is finding the babies as they can't see in the long grass 🤣
Even the Alpaca found a good spot, sat and munched away 😆
