Today our hearts are breaking, and the tears following. Our beautiful girl cheesecake passed away. Danni and mum did all they could, and even tried to save the babies but it was too late.

Fly high beautiful girl. You were one of kind and will be missed, but never forgotten. 💔😭💔😭

We have been busy at Tocal Field Days, sharing our amazing rare breed with everyone.

Lambing due after July so keep your eye out for cuteness overload. 😍

The last few days have been very exciting.
We have had 2 lots of twins, 3 boys and 1 girl.

They have all gone to live with Aunty Danni and uncle Matt, to ensure the last mums to be get the special care if needed.

God I miss them already, it's so quiet without them here 😢

What is a Ryeland Sheep used for, here a little info.

It is a excellent quality lamb and great tasting meat, the Ryeland is primarily a meat sheep, being much sought after by rare breeds butchers, top chefs, hotels and restaurants. The sheep do well on a diet of good grass, without the need for supplementary feeding, they are particularly suitable for organic lamb production. The short wool is also useful, being prized by hand-spinners and weavers. Initially Ryelands were considered to have the finest wool of all British breeds and when Queen Elizabeth 1, was given "Lemster" wool stockings, she liked them so much she insisted from then on to have only Lemster Ryeland wool.
