To our dear followers, I’m really sorry but I have to turn to you this afternoon. It’s for Trevor again. Just when I thought we were in the clear, due to the extensive surgery and the number of foreign fragments removed, Trevor has experienced a temperature spike caused by a mild infection.

Whilst the surgery to remove multiple fragments from his lung and oesophagus was successful, Trevor hasn’t bounced back as quickly as we had hoped.. The incredible team at SASH has been working tirelessly, providing him with round-the-clock care to treat the infection and stabilise his condition.

They’re hopeful that the treatment will bring his temperature back to normal. Trevor has also been struggling with his appetite, which is to be expected after such a significant procedure. The vets may need to insert a temporary feeding tube to ensure he gets the nutrients required to regain his strength.

At this stage, Trevor remains in critical care. Unfortunately, the extended stay and mild complications have pushed his treatment costs beyond our previous fundraising efforts.

We need to raise all up $19,000 for Trevor to cover the initial surgery costs and now this round of his intensive care costs. A big thank you to the 398 amazing supporters who have donated so far. Unfortunately we still need more funds.

I've calculated we are $7,646 short of our target meaning I would love to see 1,529 of our Facebook followers just donate $5 each. It would mean the world.

Just $5 from each and every one of you would help us so much. It’s the cost of your next cup of coffee but one that will give Trevor the best care he deserves. Trevor has shown incredible courage.

We are thrilled to share some positive news about Trevor, our beloved foster Rhodesian Ridgeback!

Today, Trevor underwent surgery at the specialist vets in Adelaide, and we’re so happy to announce that everything has gone successfully thus far. The surgeons worked carefully to remove multiple fragments that were found in his lung and esophagus area, and we’re relieved to share that they’ve now been successfully removed.

Trevor is a fighter, and we couldn’t be prouder of his strength and resilience. A massive thank you to everyone who has sent well-wishes, donated, and supported Trevor’s journey. Your kindness has made all the difference.

We’ll keep you updated on his progress in the coming days. Please continue to keep Trevor in your thoughts as he begins his recovery.

A big shout out to Mildura Veterinary Hospital who without their care and assessments , we wouldnt have known what was causing Trevors discomfort. To SASH - Small Animal Specialist Hospital in Adelaide for their quick admission and their surgery expertise plus our tireless foster carers.

ALL DOGS NEED TO BE FULLY VACCINATED, FLEA & WORM TREATED.
With how bad the Parvo outbreaks in Mildura are, we can’t take the risk of having unvaccinated dogs in our salon.
We need to sight your dogs Vaccination certificate before an appointment is guaranteed.

Reminder texts are sent 48 hours prior to your appointment, If you can’t make it please let us know at least 24 hours before your appointment so we can re-book that slot.

Clients that cancel last minute or simply don’t turn up will be charged a fee to cover wages, before being able to re-book.
Repeat offenders will be charged full price and may not be able to book with us again.

If clients are more than 10 minutes late to an appointment, we will not be able to provide the service they are booked for, instead of a full clip we will only be able to offer a wash & dry.
We understand this is frustrating for you but we are always busy and don’t have time to play catch up before our next clients arrive.
We will still be charging full price for the service you booked in for.

All dogs are to be picked up within 30 minutes of your allocated pick up time unless other arrangements have been made prior to your appointment.
As mentioned we’re very busy and have limited space, a fee will be charged for late pick ups.

Extra fees will be charged for matted and aggressive dogs.
If dogs are aggressive we will stop grooming and call you to come and pick up your dog. We won’t put your dog or ourselves at risk of an injury.
You will still be charged for the service booked.

Dogs that are severely matted will be shaved, we don’t de-matt, it causes trauma to the dogs skin.
With any shave dogs can get itchy, dogs that lick and scratch can get a rash and make the skin raw and bleed. If this happens you will need to get a cream to soothe the skin.
We do not take responsibility if this happens, we feel really bad for the dog but it is not our fault that some dogs skin reacts badly to being shaved.

We will only be responding to calls/messages through our business hours.

There will be fireworks displays at 9.30pm and midnight on Tuesday 31 December at Nowingi Place to celebrate the New Year.

🐶 Fireworks are frightening to some pets. Please pay attention to signs that your pet may be feeling stressed. Below are some tips to ensure your pets are safe and secure as we ring in the New Year:

➡ Leave your pets at home
➡ Provide pets with a safe, quiet and secure area within the house
➡ Pay attention to when the fireworks start
➡ Make sure pets are wearing collars and ID tags
