Murray Valley Obedience Dog Club Inc.

Murray Valley Obedience Dog Club Inc. Progression through the training classes is based upon individual assesment during the classes rather than a graduation test on a set date.

The Club provides training to teach canine good manners in everyday situations such as crossing the road, greeting strangers, socializing and walking under control. Dogs and handlers advance when they have reached a suitable level of confidence with each exercise. The club provides positive training, aiming for handlers to ultimately have a well mannered, happy dog.

Check where your pets microchip is registered. If it's with HomesafeID, you might want to change your details to another provider.

One of Australia's five microchip and registry companies has stopped operations, warning its website is "likely to go offline".

A heatwave hitting Bendigo starting tomorrow β˜€β˜€β˜€ have you prepared to ensure your pets are kept safe and comfortable?
🐱The BEST thing you can do to ensure the comfort of your pets is to keep them inside with you, with the air conditioner on ❄❄❄
πŸ‘For pets who can not access the house, ensure plenty of shade is available🌳🌳🌳
πŸ“It's best to supply multiple sources of water, to ensure there is a constant supply. Your pet will drink more than normal, and may like to sit or play in the water too πŸ’§πŸ’§πŸ’§
🐢Don't drive with your pet in the car if possible, keep road travel to what's necessary only, and NEVER leave your pet alone in the car, even for just a minute! πŸš—πŸš—πŸš—
πŸ•Walk your dog in the early morning before it heats up - remember in Bendigo, it's still very hot in the evenings and the ground can retain heat from the sun making it too hot to walk your dog, even in the evenings! πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

Please look after your pets this Summer, and speak to your vet for more information and advice for managing your pet.

The instructors will be there, and we'll train unless or until it starts raining cats and dogs. Maybe bring a rain coat.
Tonight will be the last formal training night for the year. Next week will be presentations and games.

Training is cancelled tonight 25th Nov.
