POTUS has had a few applications fall through, if you’d like to adopt him swing on by and pick up a form 🙂 A note from the cat himself:
“I am the greatest cat that has ever maybe even walked this earth. A lotta people say so. A lotta people. I don’t think there’s ever been a cat as great as me. Just terrific actually. I’m the most handsome and also the smartest.”
Someone take him off my hands before he starts annexing parts of the clinic please.

If you’ve been waiting for a sign to get more cats, this is your sign. Both have passed their FIV but more importantly floofy cuddly test.
FLO:
Female. Elegant, aloof, fashion that gives blink-twice-if-you-need-help-hostage-chic, Flo makes a great addition to any household or dinner party.
PO:
Male. Has trouble following rules, can be unpredictable but always entertaining. Might be a sociopath but hard to tell because he is a cat and theres quite a pie chart crossover. Loves a cuddle.

If you’re looking for some extra sauce with the boring kebab that is your home life, look no further than these two saucy fellas. The boys are 14 weeks old now though, which for a kitten is a bit like a woman turning 30 in Hollywood. Suddenly hard to get an audition.

Also, I did mean to type Aioli** not Aoili but sadly for the more particular folks out there I can’t be bothered changing it so this caveat will have to do.

Meet Peaches & Cream! Upon finding themselves homeless this Christmas season they came up with the genius idea of hanging around Santa photoshoots and then diving into people’s shopping bags to be taken home, hoping to be mistaken for the free gift that comes with those weirdly expensive children’s magazines. Unfortunately they were discovered and returned to the trade desk each time so they’ve asked me to put the feelers out…

I let Matilda outside on Monday to have a wee break when it was 46 degrees, and she protested being kept inside with the reverse cycle by rolling around in the hot dirt 🤷🏽‍♀️

Scam Alert!!!
Some colleagues have alerted us to this email scam that is doing the rounds- it tells you that you need to re-register your pets microchip, and the scammers will even have the correct chip number to make it look legit.
Once a microchip is on a registry (lots of different ones, depending on the company that makes the chip), you should NEVER need to “renew” or “re-register”. Sometimes you will need to change ownership details but that is strictly through the chip company website. If you have any concerns you can always ask at reception, and we can help you out.
Note this is a seperate thing to council registration.

Realised after we edited the post that a great big cross over the picture could send the wrong message but in this case I promise it just means they’ve found a home! The others are still looking so if you are interested in meeting these cuties they are running amok in reception 🙂

We have some pups in need of a home, adoption fee $500 which covers desexing, microchip and puppy vaccination course. They are all very sweet kids.
Clyde: Bubbly personality. Enjoys a warm Spring breeze tickling his whiskers. Very trusting, bordering on gullible.
Hades: Changed his birth name so that he could get more serious roles in Hollywood. Will take chicken over beef at a wedding. Occasionally passes wind and will blame others.
Medusa: Excellent at multitasking. Project manages her brothers. Avid reader of non-fiction but will shame read a teen fiction here or there.

Happy Vet Nurse Day! Amongst many other things our nurses are champions at looking after the tidal wave of stray kittens that rock up around this time of year. Contact us if you’d like to take one off of their hands! Pictured below:

Felix’s favourite Harry Potter book is number three because of Sirius, doesn’t mind the movies but thinks number 5 should have definitely been split into two because come on if you’re going to split number 7 that book’s a fraction of the size of 5 also boy did they just skim over the whole half blood prince thing in 6 and where was the juicy Tom Riddle backstory that was easily the best part of that book need I go on.
Geez calm down Felix what a nerd.
