I just want to tell you a little about myself so you get to know a bit about who I am. I think it's nice to know the person that you are buying from. So here goes....
I am a 30-something,wife to a wonderful & supportive husband, I also have my own bookkeeping business, and lover of all things homemade and handmade. I grew up on a farm on the South Coast of Australia so I am very much a country gi
rl. Growing up on a farm you learn to be very self sufficient from a very young age. We did not have television or a computer till I was about the age on 15. I am so glad know looking back because had we had all those things I might not have the passion that I have for homemade and handmade work. My mother first introduced me to her old sewing machine and fabric pieces everywhere! From a young age, creativity was ingrained in me. So now, somehow between my well developed bookkeeping business, my horses, dogs, chooks & my husband lol god love him, I have found my way of satisfying my creative niche. What has help push me along with my sewing is a beautiful friend who we lost last year 2014 from Brain Cancer. I had a hard time dealing with the loss and my anxiety was uncontrollable. To slow my thoughts down I started sewing and within a week of sewing my anxiety was controlled. Know I am not saying that I don't think of her everyday, I do! But I have found my way to control my body, through my sewing. Ok so that's the honest truth about why I found my creative niche again so thank you Kayla! Wow that was hard to write but I am sure anyone reading this has had a time in there life that they have felt the same sort of way. So know for the fun part, shopping!! Something I love doing lol.
