Wishing everybody a fabulous 2025. I particularly wish to congratulate our many clients who have loved and adored our youngsters. It’s been a (nearly) 50 year journey for our stud. This show season, our horses achieved some tremendous results. To have bred /sired three SHC horse of the years champions in three states and in three different height categories has been pretty special and this really comes down to many, many years of refined breeding and special horses along the way. We congratulate Luke Dawes (and riders Britt Holmberg and Stella Gilmour Monica Croston) for their amazing success with Cheraton Queen Bee (Cheraton True Blue X Cheraton Work of Art) - champion small pony Geelong royal, Champion SHCV HOTY small childs pony and Champion small pony SHCV. We congratulate Luke Docker Kelly Mules with his outstanding success with newcomer Keanbree Austentacious (Cheraton Blue Label X Fairleigh Juliet Bravo) - EWA show hunter large Galloway of the year, runner up Childs Galloway of the year, Perth royal best novice. SHC WA show hunter Galloway. Last but not least, we congratulate the Shaw family Maria Shaw Laura Lee Sophie-Kate Shaw with their very special Cheraton Black Label (Cheraton Blue Label X Melindras Spirit) in his newcomer year with Margot Haynes and Mercedes Mathews -champion large hack at SHC SA Horse of the Year, qualifying for the EA Nationals and then claiming National runner up Childs Large Hack of the Year and then 3rd in the National open Large Hack of the year. This was all in his first season! We are so proud of all owners of our horses.

The messages and photos received every week throughout the year has made it truly special - from the yearlings in winter to the 34 year olds enjoying their best life. We are truly grateful.

We wish The Shaw family and their very beautiful Cheraton Black Label all the very best at the Nationals. Jett, in his first season, has qualified for both the Childs and open large hack. He is sired by Cheraton Blue Label (grandson of our founding sire Kirreway Rialto) and out of our beautiful TB mare. Jett decided to reach for the stars and is large hack! We cannot wait to watch him in the big arena.

After a 15 month recovery from rider injury, Cheraton Mona Lisa and her rider are delighted to be competing again. It’s been a phenomenal few weeks for Cheraton Stud and our beautiful clients and their equally beautiful horses.

We wish to congratulate Luke Dawes and his very special Cheraton Queen Bee with her success at Geelong Royal - Champion Novice Pony and Reseeve Champion Open Pony. Well it doesn’t get much better than this. Huge congratulations to Luke Docker and his very special large show hunter Galloway Ke-anbree Austentacious. At his first competition in the indoor arena, Austin claimed the EWA Horse of the Year Show Hunter Galloway Champion and Runner Up Large Show Hunter Childs Galloway. Now qualified for the Nationals and Grand Nationals and still a baby, he’s certainly one to watch. A special shout out to his breeder Kelly Mules for having the foresight to breed her beautiful mare Farleigh juliet Bravo to our super sire Cheraton Blue Label (Cheraton True Blue X Cheraton Wildflower).

Cheraton Queen Bee. We are absolutely thrilled with her success at the recent Show Horse Council Vic Classic. It was there that she won Champion open show pony 12.2h and under and Runner Up Champion Childs open show pony 12.2h and under. Sired by Cheraton True Blue (Jackets Bluebird imp x Falconhurst Animation) and out of Cheraton Work of Art (Fairley Rembrandt UK x Falconhurst Animation), Queenie continues to melt hearts and lead the way.
