Results from our On-Property Ram Sale yesterday:
- overall 90/90 auctions rams averaged $3,095. 103 rams sold for the day
- 54/54 Mt Ascot rams sold to average $3,388, top - $8,400
- 36/36 Jolly Jumbuck rams sold to average $2,653, top - $7,000
Thankyou to everyone involved in making our sale so successful! Special mention to the Little Family, Cunnamulla for purchasing the top priced ram and being the largest volume buyer, Brett and Virginia Elliot, Kynuna for purchasing the top priced poll ram, and to the Kirby Family, St George for their volume buy.
Also thanks to the NAB Roma and Coppers/Allflex for supplying beers and keeping us well hydrated!

Our Northern Ram Sale is only a few weeks away - Friday 29th August 2025! Come along for a beer, a catch-up and see some quality rams at the Wellshot Hotel in Ilfracombe!

723 bales for the year and approx 23,000 sheep shorn between our properties, now everyone is exhausted! Ewes are in great order and ready to lamb next month, wether lambs are being finished on oats crops and rams are being prepared for our upcoming Northern Sale. It’s all a big effort but rewarding with the dual-purpose ability of our Merinos to be able to make the most of the high lamb and mutton markets as well as income from our yearly wool clip. Merinos are kicking goals!

Flashback to shearing at Woodstock & Waratah, Cunnamulla during June as we are about to start shearing at Mitchell this week. Thankful for a fantastic season, fat sheep and unreal meat prices!!
