Congratulations to the connections of Shooter Mcgavin who won at Werribee today. He was given a terrific ride by Jason Maskiell and in just his second start for our stable it was great to see him salute in style. Special mention to Jackson Pallot who has sent a few horses our way when he finished training last month. Very thankful to him and his owners for the new opportunities. Let’s hopes this is the first of many winners winners to come!

Great result today for the ever consistent Shamrock Bay at Bairnsdale Racing Club Inc. Well rated out in front by Celine Gaudray who now makes it 2 wins from as many rides on this mare. Congratulations to her owners Jodi, Brendan and families.

We’ve been busy shopping again! Today we’ve found this lightly raced 4yo gelding by Choisir Mont Saint Michel who’s had just 10 starts and only finished out of the prize money on just
2 occasions.
He has a very attractive handicap rating and we think he’ll go on and win some nice races in the right grade. He was a cheap buy and from just $425 you can race a horse over the summer months with us!

This is what we love too see!

Here is High Done just four months after being retired. As you can see he has transitioned into his new life very well and is getting spoilt rotten.

Very happy that he has found such a great home as he took us all on a very fun journey 😍 🐎

We recently said goodbye & happy retirement to our stable favorite High Done. He had his first start for our stable back in 2020 as a 4yo tried horse. He’s not much bigger than the stable pony but had so much heart and determination. He went on to have 68 starts with 8 wins, 14 seconds and 6 thirds and a total of $267,565 in prize money.
The video below shows him in his day paddock with his best friend Diamond (a retired greyhound). He has gone to a great home where he’ll be spoilt as he begins his next venture as a show horse.

We always love getting a winner on our home track Moe Racing Club. Shamrock Bay didn’t give anything else a chance today leading all the way, aided by a great Craig Newitt ride. Well done to her owners Brendan, Jody and their families.

Templeton Racing is a family run racing stable located close to Moe & Trafalgar. We are looking for someone on a casual basis to work around the stables 3-4 mornings a week (approx 12-15 hours per week) the possibility of more hours for the right candidate.

Duties will include but not limited to:
* Mucking out boxes and yards.
* Refilling boxes with new sawdust when required.
* Maintaining and cleaning all areas of the facility
* Horse handling experience would be looked upon favourably.
* Must be reliable and have reliable transport
