We had a beautiful Ring Tail Possum brought into the clinic unwell. After some TLC and a refuel we are happy to say we were able to release it back to its local habitat. ❤️
Oh Savannah you are just a sweetie! ❤️ Little Savannah was in last month for being very unwell with going off her food and developing nasty diarrhoea. She needed some fluids into the vein and medications to help her get better. But the most important thing on the chart for her hospital stay was lots of snuggles and pats 🐾
🩵Today we Celebrate Veterinary Nurse Day 🩵
🐄🐈🐖🐏🐕🦄🐪🐔🐓🦆🦉🦌🐸🐢
We are so lucky to have an amazing team of nurses , supporting our vets and sneaking the occasional cuddle with our patients.
Super pup to the rescue!!! This little cutie in our latest puppy school showed the ultimate in bravery and courage by jumping straight into our famous ball pit! ❤️🐾❤️
This video is one of our absolute favourites to share!! This beautiful BooBook Owl was brought into the clinic recently and once checked over was able to be released.
The Southern BooBook Owl is one of the smallest and most common owls in Australia. They feed on insects and small mammals. You will often hear them with their distinctive ‘boo-book’ call.
To see a wild bird released is the most amazing feeling and we always thank the caring public for bringing in wildlife for assessment. 🐾
Meet Meg. She’s a sweet little Kelpie that managed to get a JAR stuck on her head! Oh dear Meg!
Luckily with a little sedation on board and a neat little trick we were able to liberate her! She was much happy and full of smiles when she woke up from her sedation and back to her mischievous self the next day 🐾🐶🐾
Today is a very special day- Vet Nurse Day! And on this day we celebrate our amazing and talented nurses!
They are an integral part of our team and we would be lost without them. Their job includes everything from handling animals, assisting surgery, running anaesthetics, taking X-rays, placing intravenous catheters, managing hospital patients with the vets, reception duties… the list goes on and on! And there might be a bit of animal cuddling in there too 😉❤️
Enjoy the video we’ve put together and show your support for our fantastic nurses in the comments below!

Sound on and follow the journey of Hiccup, the very cute Schnauzer that belongs to our receptionist Carolyn and vet nurse Claudia!
Looking very tough in his Batman onsie, Hiccup came in for a dental to remove the calculus on his teeth. He was very brave and now has beautiful pearly whites to show off! 🐶🐾🦷
After spending most of 2021 in the midst of renovations, we are proud to share our fabulous new clinic with you all. We thank our customers and staff for their patience during this mammoth task and we could not be happier with the final result.
