Time to reflect now that all our current pups have found homes. There’s been some talk about puppy packs on dachshund pages lately. I only had one person from 8 pups and numerous enquiries ask what’s in our puppy pack.

We can all agree that the market is flooded with pups of every breed at the moment so while I don’t think the packs are a breaking point over price, I’m interested. So what your thoughts are on them?

Here’s a few basic questions to start you off!
- What would you like in a puppy pack?
- Would you expect a pack at all? Or just want pedigree and breed information, vet check/puppy passport only.
- Would you pay extra for pups from breeders who do high end packs?
- Would you rather buy the beds, blankets, toys, coats, bandannas etc yourself to spoil your new pup?
- Would you like different pack options and pricing?
- Is it more about the pre-purchase experience and communication throughout the process for you? As in photo updates (including professional puppy photos) and videos and the value you put on these.
- Do you value DNA testing paid for and included from breeder over material items?

Obviously as a breeder it is hard to keep everyone happy! But we like to try 😉 🤔

Welcome to DXS Mini Dachshunds!

The best gift we can give an animal is a loving home! At DXS Mini Dachshunds we strive to do just that, living and loving life on a cattle property in rural QLD.

Our story started out when we were blessed to have a mini dachshund join our family, a companion to our kids, one that we were committed too and easily fell in love with!

We’ve all had favourite dogs and it’s dachshunds that will always hold a special place in our hearts. With this deep love of dogs and wanting to experience puppies, we decided to become a small breeder of quality pure bred miniature dachshunds.
