Did you know 80% of pets over the age of 2 years old are likely to have dental disease?

Some signs to tell if your pet is suffering from dental disease can include:
🦷Smelly breath
🦷Discolouration of the teeth
🦷Buildup of plaque and/or tartar on their teeth
🦷Inflammed gums
🦷Becoming shy or sensitive when touching around their mouth
🦷Having difficultly chewing

If not treated, it is guaranteed that dental disease will progress so it’s always great when we catch it and treat it early!

Its not only chocolate you need to keep away from your pet over Easter but hot cross buns containing raisins are also a big no no! Grapes & raisins even in the smallest quantities can cause kidney failure. Also the foil around chocolate eggs can cause intestinal blockages! If you are at all concerned call your nearest vet immediately.

Photo isn’t new but tragically it is still happening everyday and getting worse 🥲

“I’m moving I can’t take my dog with me”
“The baby is allergic”
“I am too busy for him”
“I don’t have time to train him”
“My new partner dosent like dogs”
“ I’m going on holiday and can’t afford to board him”
“He’s old and getting sick”
“I got a new puppy and he dosent like it”
“He barks to much and digs my yard”
“I didn’t know how big he would grow “
“I’m pregnant “
”My landlord doesn’t want dogs”
This. ….
This is where your dog ends up. I’m tired of peoples excuses I’m tired of dogs ending up dead in shelter floor I’m tired.
A dog is a lifetime responsibility.
A commitment of 10+ years. That dog that you sent to the dog pound for whatever excuse ,trusted you and loved you. No excuses I don’t want to hear it.
Think about this twice before you give a small insignificant excuse as to why you have to give up your dog."

We are a rescue NOT a shelter 👍
Rescues save dogs from these places but we just can’t save them all !

If they were not there in the first place we would not be needed !!!

Can't wait to see everyone and their beautiful furbubbas on Saturday we have a double site and over 60 products including lots of Easter yummies, 💯 made from scratch by me right here in New England!!!

Here it is - the Expo Map for 2024!

The sites are full, the bands are booked, our wonderful staff and volunteers are ready to roll!

We will see you on Saturday 23rd March at Hampden Park in Uralla from 9am for one fabulous day - and night - of celebrating so many of the things that make living in the New England pretty amazing.
