What a weekend away with the family at Deniliquin Show. Never a dull moment. Bull Riding Friday night, Demolition Derby followed by fireworks Saturday night amongst all the cattle, camels, sheep, shearing contests and sideshows.
The horses all jumped great with ‘Cashed Up’ winning the 120 Championship and 3rd in the 130 Championship. Well done to Jenna Bloomfield on your win, you rode first class👌. We couldn’t be happier with our young ones ‘LG Gringo’ and ‘Karachuchi SL’ who dealt with the atmosphere great and jumped some beautiful rounds in ring 2. Massive shout out to the Hare family and the hard working committee on the amazing ground and all the effort you have put in to making it happen, it’s a credit to you!

What a great weekend away at my favourite show of the year, The Western Districts Showjumping Championships in Mortlake. Great jumping, catching up with family, helping some of my students and having a few drinks over a game of pool with some of my best mates.
Congratulations to Russel Johnstone on winning the Binnie Barclay Memorial Grand Prix and to Zara Adnams on winning the John Barclay Memorial Junior Championship.
Obviously this show means a lot to us with both Mum and Dad’s Memorials classes being ran there. Hopefully Luca can win the Junior in a few years.🤞
The highlight of my weekend was ‘Cashed Up’ running 5th in the Mini Prix at our 3rd show together.
