🎅 SANTA PAWS 🐾 is coming to the Old Spot Markets on Saturday November 23rd.

Come on down and have your fur baby's photo with Santa for $5 (volunteers will be on hand to take the photo if you want to be in it too).

There will be gift bags for the fur babies, pet themed Christmas ornaments, bandanas and more. Of course there will be snacks for puppies and humans too. Come on down to say hello and buy a treat. All proceeds go to the shelter to support the furkids.

Absolute chaos, but we had a blast! Thank you Dani from Hound in Hand Photography for donating your skills to help raise funds for the shelter, and to our jolly Santas for keeping the subjects on track and smiling. And of course thank you to everyone who booked and made it such a success.

The Dog and Cat Management Board has advised of an email scam currently circulating advising pet owners their animal's microchip has expired and is unregistered. The scam is asking owners to pay a $28 fee to update their animal's registration.

Please be aware this is a scam and is not an official email from Dogs and Cats Online.

Please NOTE: DACO have undertaken tests and have been informed that the owner and animal information was not sourced from DACO which has extremely strict security protocols.

Why: Hound in Hand and Moorook Animal Shelter are teaming up and have called in a big favour from the big man. All proceeds from these sessions will be donated to Moorook Animal Shelter, to aid them in their work of pet rehoming, giving as many pets as possible a second chance.

Shirley is still looking for her furever home. She is currently in foster in Adelaide. Whilst she is still very shy and skittish, she is slowly learning how to be a dog in a home. She gets along great with the cat and loves a good drive in the car! She would love an active owner who understands that it will take time and patience to gain her trust and love. Mufasa is a 4 month old, lovely little snuggle puss and has just had his desexing done on Tuesday 1st October. He is vaccinated and microchipped and only $160.00

Cream coloured, tabby domestic short haired.
Beautiful amber / golden brown eyes
Small, slender tiger, looking for his forever home.

Mufasa gets along with cats, kids and other people, he can see 2 large dogs from his crate (Rottweiler and Cattle Dog) and is unbothered by them.

Shirley is in foster care in Adelaide and is desperate to meet her forever people.

She is super shy and hesitant with new people but if they are quiet and give her space, over time she will approach. Once she trusts you, she will give cuddles and is super affectionate. Shirley would love another active doggy friend or an active owner to burn off the energy she has. She is good with cats and other dogs. Little children may scare her as she doesn't like loud noises or sudden movements. She walks pretty well on the lead and she comes when called.
