Discounted Desexing!

During the month of July, we participated in the NDN scheme and offered discounted desexing procedures for concession card and pension card holders. We loved the results so much that we have decided to make it a permanent offer in our clinic.

Due to the increase interest in dental month, we have decided to extend “Dental month” for another month!! From now until the 30th of September we are offering DISCOUNTED dental procedures and free dental goodie bags for your pet after their procedure!

As many of you know the month of July, we participated in the National Desexing Scheme (NDN), we have decided to continue with it for the foreseeable future.
This program is only valid for concession or pension card holders and proof of that on admission is necessary.
Majority of owners think desexing an animal isn’t necessary if the animal is contained and not near other entire animals. This in fact is wrong!
There are many benefits of desexing including:
• Reducing the risk of cancer and other diseases of the reproductive system
• Reducing physical and nutritional deficiencies from continual breeding and phantom pregnancies.
• Pets generally live longer happier lives
• Animals are less likely to wander and will reduce the amount of escaping
• Eliminate heat cycles in females

We’re now taking bookings for the next set of classes starting:
🔹Saturday 20th July at Mooroopna Vet Practice🔹

These fantastic classes are suitable for pups of 10 to 24 weeks of age and who are 10 days past their 2nd set of vaccinations.

Topics covered include:
* Socialising with other dogs
* Establishing healthy boundaries
* Basic commands – sit, down, stay etc
* Health, diet and puppy safety instruction
* Toilet training
* Puppy settling methods
* Lead and walking techniques
* General behaviour concepts
* Dealing with problem behaviours using effective gentle methods.
* Establishing a smooth transition into adolescence

Classes are fun and plenty of individual attention is provided. All DogTech training methods are gentle, simple and designed to work in harmony with your pup’s natural instincts.

Averil Coe of DogTech is a well respected behavioural trainer with over 16 years experience in the field. She’s been conducting puppy classes in the Central Victoria region for 15 of those years.

They have started works directly in front of our practice so this has made gaining access to our practice is not as easy as usual.

To be able to get to the practice you have to turn onto Elsie jones drive from the midland HWY and then follow Elsie jones drive until you come to a roundabout where you will turn right onto knight street and follow this to the end where you can access our driveway.

We ask that you allow extra time for travel ahead of your appointment's to try and minimise delays.
We appreciate your patience!
