In one week the club will come together to race team Fluff n Spicy at Nationals 2024 Flybally competition. We invite you to come to Hawkesbury Showground over the Oct long weekend to support and cheer on the teams competing in the event. Thank you to everyone who has worked hard to make this happen, including club members coming from afar and team helpers that make things go smoothly at comps. Here's hoping for some clean, fun racing!

Recap of SX May the 4th (redo) ✨
I think I speak for us all when I say we had a fantastic day of racing! This combo has settled well with some testing/shuffling at the last comp and the dogs really enjoyed racing on grass for the first time in a while with a best time of 19.209. With lots of clean runs! 🤩

Big congratulations 👏🏼🎉
To Storm for achieving his Flyball Master title at 400 points! Not spitting his ball all day.
To Millie for achieving her Flyball Dog Excellent title at 20 points and only 4 from her next title and Kelly getting a PB start time of 0.006.
Special mention to Raven for running half a second faster, many contributing factors including Izzy putting in the work at home to fix his box turn, his love for running on grass and some expert heart attack passes.
And the little man Watson for not spitting his ball all day!! The fairy wings are a great success 🧚🏼‍♀️ and of course also Mum and Rach's expert passing skill!
Of course to our ever ready box loader Greg and ball sh***er Tracey.

All of this is putting us in a really comfy place for Nationals in just over 2 weeks time 🫣
I'm really proud of all hands getting in to help. Makes for a nice smooth day and great supportive club vibes 🫶🏼

Back at it again! May the 4th Ep II @ Blacktown

After a rainy washout back in may, SX are rerunning their epic grass comp tomorrow Sept 14 ✨️ we're keen to hit the Div 2 lanes with Storm, Watson, Millie, Raven and Jindi to make up Fluffn Fast in the lead up to Nats 🥳

Our little agility training group has been gathering momentum over the last few months. It's great fun to get together with our dogs and learn skills up to sequences. If you want to see some agility in action come along to Morisset Show on Saturday 19th October where we'll be running an agility demonstration!

On Thursday evening, the world lost a fighter. 💔
There is so much that can be said about Lilo, but i'll try to keep it short. She was a spicy girl who did nothing by halves and threw her absolute everything into every task.
CHF had the privilege of knowing Lilo from the start of the club and gaining her trust and love over the last 2 years. Flyball (after her mum) was her absolute favourite thing in the world. She got to do everything she loved, be loud, mad, and, of course, get the ball!

At their last comp together got 2x perfect 0.000 starts and we could really see her setting her pace and confidence. Racing was something that we weren't always sure she would be able to do due to the spice. But once she was racing, she became our ever reliable start dog and you could see the shift in Lilo's confidence in herself and Claire's confidence in Lilo.

In flyball, when a team member is lost, we often will do a ghost run. So in honour of Lilo, our first race of this weekend's comp, we gave her one last race in start, it was bloody hard for the team, but we knew Lilo was there in spirit 🩵💜

A huge congratulations to Kelly Greg Batten for their amazing debut of Millie at State of Origin! They made the huge journey up north as 6th dog in the team to get some ring experience and after 2 days of being consistent and focused in the warm ups we threw her in and she did not disappoint! Absolutely smashed it in her first ever race 🎉🎉🎉🎉
