It was the night before Christmas, and all the kangaroos had settled in for the evening, while the horses in the paddock were still chewing on the last tufts of grass under the soft glow of the night sky. The air was warm, carrying the faint scent of eucalyptus and hay, as the stars stretched out like a sea of diamonds over the wide, whispering plains.

Out here in the quiet, the only sounds were the rustle of wind through the gumtrees and the occasional nicker from a curious chestnut mare. The little boys and girls had put out carrots and oats for Santa’s sleigh team, just in case the big guy was planning on trading his reindeer for a few trusty Aussie horses this year.

The fire pit crackled, and for a moment, you could almost hear the rhythmic beat of hooves against red dirt, as if the spirit of Christmas had already started its journey through the Outback....

Ippico is an online equestrian brand in the Hunter Valley, New South Wales, Australia.

Ippico was born in 2015, with the goal of delivering high quality equestrian wear with a focus on durability and value for money.

Along the way, Ippico has become known for all things 'matching'. The driving force behind Ippico is our Director, Naomi. She's a lawyer, as well as the chief creator of all of the products you see on our online store. Self confessed perfectionist with a hint of OCD, she has an eye for detail and ensures all products are tried, tested and manufacturer to the highest standard.
