They not like us ππΌββοΈ
Did you know you cannot achieve a beautiful groom if the dog hasnβt been properly bathed, dried and prepped according to each individualβs coat type? This means that specific shampoo is customised for each dog depending on the health of their skin and coat, and the type of coat they have. We also always shampoo each dog at least twice to make sure they are squeaky clean, followed by a high quality conditioner to re-nourish the coat. After this, they are then completely dried, brushed and combed out before any hair trimming starts. This process is what takes up a majority of the groom time. We have heard wonderful feedback from many regular clients that their pups stay smelling fresh for weeks after their grooms, and this is due to our thorough coat prep!
β¨ Submissive Grin β¨ Some modern-day dogs still possess behaviours from their wolf ancestors, such as the submissive grin that Geoffrey is showing here! Some people can mistake this as aggressive behaviour, however it is a dogs way of saying βI am not a threat, I just want to be friendlyβ. So how could we potentially tell the difference between aggressive snarling and submissive grinning? There are other body language indicators we can look at outlined below: Submissive grin = loose body, soft eyes, low wagging tail Aggressive behaviour = standing tall, tail and ears up, tense body, hackles raised #submissivegrin #dogbehaviour #southernhighlands

What a star Jet is, one of my easiest clients. After he drags me into the trailer, I just tell him where to go and he goes there; into the bath, onto the table... doesnβt even need to be tethered for his baths he loves them SO much π
Great job Jet!
