Reason 318 why greyhounds are great family pets
✨ This is all they want to do 90% of the time✨
😂😂 People expect them to want to race around all day and be extremely high energy and high needs - but truly you’ll be adopting a couch potato 🥔
When you finally pinpoint that itchy spot that’s been on your back all day 😩
Me: Archie, i’d love you to help me showcase the farm sessions and what they’re all about so we can help get you more puppy friends and get more dogs living their best lives! Can you explain it to everyone🙎🏻♀️ Archie: Yeah sure I totally get what you mean 🐶
How cute is tiny Isla?
Her mum recognised how important it was for Isla to be socialised at a young age and reached out to us to organise her sweet little pup coming to our quiet Wednesday sessions at the farm.
Our Wednesday sessions differ slightly from our regular farm adventure. The dogs are either very quiet or senior pooches which means it’s a fantastic environment for a small puppy to build confidence in social skills, and be corrected with behaviour by mature dogs.
Dgso are very impressionable when they are still puppies and learning and growing. It is so important to ensure they get the best start to life with positive and regular social interactions as well as exposure to a number of things that will ensure they grow up to be confident, independent, and socially outstanding dogs
🐾 Want to score yourself $50 to spend at “We Know Pets” in Bowral?
If you can comment the progression of your pets real name down to what you now call them as a nickname, as I have done with Cooper in this video, you will be entered to win $50 on me to splurge on your pet 🤪
I think it’s hilarious the types of nicknames that some of us come up with that have no direct relation to our pets actual names and I’d love to hear all of yours! Just write it up in the comments and next Monday I will post the winner along with a photo of your pet, so please also include a photo of your fur, baby! (Or feathery or scaly) 📸
🦎 We certainly DO care for all creatures great and small. Whether they have fur, feathers, scales or something else altogether, our team are always ready to look after your precious family members

10/10 people agree this is one of the greatest sounds in the world
Soothing horsey chomps 🐴 hilarious the way they chew can make hay sound so ✨ crunchy ✨
How cute are these guys?
Did you know that we are super flexible with whatever needs are? We can come as often or as little as required and do as much as needed to mimic the way you care for your pets so they feel just as loved and safe as when you are there
These adorable little bunnies get visited every second day by our team. We do a full clean out of their cage, refresh all their food and waters, refresh their litters, and we even mop the floor, so it’s as fresh and hygienic as possible to keep them happy and healthy for their owners.
Some pets have lesser requirements, so just feeding and cuddles and lots of love, and some pets have a lot more tasks to complete during a pet care visit, never feel put off on reaching out if you feel what you require may be “too much”, it’s never too much for us!
We pride ourselves oncbeing able to provide the best care possible to allow your pets total contentment and total peace of mind for you too.
👼 Every so often we have clients that truly make their way into the hearts of the entire team.
Rupert has been a daily regular for years and years and he’s been so loved by each and every Paws and Whiskers team member both past and present. Even my children have accompanied me on many Rupert walks through school holiday periods and adore him
Both him and his owner are kind, hilarious, sweet and quirky and to myself personally, both are very dear to me.
Having to say goodbye to these pets it’s the worst part of this job and the only time I have to take a moment to reflect on why we do what we do. In those moments pets leave our side it’s so easy to be heartbroken and feel down, like our world is a little darker
But, like I am, please always try to remember that you made an animals entire life special. You let an animal feel unconditional love, safety, and joy. We feel like we get so little time with them, but they get their whole lives with us. They are filled with happiness and allowed to live peacefully, something not all animals are lucky enough to receive
Rupert you will be so dearly missed by so many, we know how well loved and well known you were. You and your mother are so special and I know you’re up there watching and waiting 👼
When you give them the old handshake, double wink, razzle dazzle, and they still don’t give you a treat 🙄
Sorry Walter, sometimes it’s just about cute vids for the fans 🤣
A rare occasion when I’m happy to hear the sounds of someone eating 😂
Little Nick is too cute, being treated like an absolute king - hand fed a delicious treat whilst lounging on his comfy bed 👑
☀️ how lucky are the dogs to be able to enjoy this beautiful dam during our doggy adventure sessions
On hot days like this it’s so lovely to watch them paddle around and play, receiving safe and gentle exercise so they can go home content and ready to snooze the afternoon away 😴
Our doggy adventures are run every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Pick up and drop off is provided 🚐

Lilo & Banks enjoying a cheeky wrestle and roll in the grass during their midday visit
Their pawrents recently treated them to some overnight stays where they got to cuddle with us all night, with non stop love and attention from 6pm - 8am ⏰
Being inside doggies, our team also dropped in to let them out for a run, some vitamin D, and to check waters & clean up if needed 🐶
Whatever your pet care needs, we are here to support you and work to your requirements 🫶🏻
Every visit we do differs in one way or another due to us catering each visit to each individual pets needs 🐾
🤔 Ever wondered exactly what we do get up to?
We have created a small series of videos that allow you to come along and experience a snippet of all sorts of visits! 📹
Our visits are all 20-30+ minutes long, but we have compacted that down to under 2 minutes to give you some insight and a peek behind the curtain 👀
Our first video features the cute and sweet Clawdia during one of her morning visits ⏰ she gets visited morning and night to be fed, checked, and loved 🥰
We love seeing all the exciting and wriggly puppies ready for their walks every day 🫶🏻
It brings us so much joy and fulfilment seeing how excited the dogs get to be going out for their exercise and enrichment and it reminds us what we do is special 🥰
For the love of animals 🐾
Sweet old Buffy enjoying her senior session ☀️
We love giving her the space to enjoy the farm at her own pace, with other quiet and aged pooches 🐶
She can paddle in the stunning water (constantly filters into other dams via pipes so it’s very clean and fresh) and allow her joints to relax as the water takes her weight
You can see how much she loves it, always going back for more. Not to mention the serene sounds of the birds chirping, cows mooing, and the stunning spring sun shining down 🌸
Our senior sessions on a Wednesday are a great session for both aged dogs and dogs that really prefer to take things slow and quiet, but still enjoy going out and exploring and being social at a calmer pace
Message or call us today to find out more about it 📱 0423817715
Pick up & drop off included 🚐
Spring is here 🌸
We are so excited for the warmer and longer days ☀️ the dogs love the new and exciting fresh scents that come with the seasonal change. Not to mention the use of the farm dam for our dogs day out pooches 😍
Hallee looks so sweet strolling through the flowers on her walk, one of 3 per week to keep her happy, calm, and exercised for her elderly owners who are unable to walk her themselves 🐾
We always feel so privileged when we get to look after our clients pets on their birthdays 🥳
.
When we create bonds and our animal clients, especially those that are long term, such a wonderful part of that is watching them grow. To celebrate a milestone like a birthday with your special furry, feathery, or even scaly family member is so special to our whole team.
.
We love knowing we are a part of what brings them joy, contentment, high physical and mental health levels, and just watching their personality blossom as they let us in.
.
Our lives may be filled with many different animals over the years, but we are our pets entire life, they get a fraction of the birthdays that us humans do and we will never grow tired of being a part of that 🖤
🐶 C H O M P 🐶
We love Poppy and her sister Frankie 🥰
🐶 Poppy is an inside dog majority of the time - so how do our clients navigate this when away? You can’t leave your pooch inside all day long, for some dogs it’s more difficult to manage their emotional and physical needs - not to mention trying to hold off on a toilet break
🗓️ We are able to visit multiple times a day, even up to four for some clients. This allows dogs to have their day broken up in to segments, be able to use the bathroom regularly, be taken for a walk to chew up some energy (or a play in the yard)
Visits can be spread apart in a way to benefit their routine as best as possible, and always keep pets as happy and comfortable as possible when you’re out or away 🏡
🥳 Happy 7th Birthday to us 🥳
These 7 years have felt like they have blown by. I will never be able to express to my clients what their support means to myself and my team
I have genuine tears in my eyes trying to process the way this business has grown and thrived and been able to become everything I wanted it to be. I wanted to be able to provide reassurance, reliability, peace of mind, and love to pets and pet owners alike
When I left vet nursing after quickly realising I absolutely did not have the emotional strength required to deal with the amount of horrible situations, death, and the many other negative aspects that for me personally just could not be outweighed by the good, I was heart broken to think I may not have my chance to work with animals like I wanted
To bring happiness to animals, be an important part of their health and well-being is such a passion of mine. For me personally, this business has allowed myself and my team to do just that and we are so thankful for every single minute
I am so keen to celebrate another 7, then 7 more after that, because I assure you all we are never going anywhere. In fact I have a few new things in store that I can’t wait to share over the coming months.
Thank you all again, from the bottom of my heart, and happy birthday to us 🫶🏼
