Hi everyone.
Welcome back to training for 2025. Training starts again tonight at Belair Primary school at 7.15pm. Unfortunately it looks like there will be no training at Mt Barker or Ridgehaven this weekend due to our hot weather policy ( No training if the predicted temperature is 34degrees or above.) We will let you know nearer the time.
Just a suggestion, you are able to attend our other clubs if you want to get some training in. So, if you are from Mt Barker or Ridgehaven, you can attend your class at Belair tonight to get that training in. I will attend just in case I am needed to assist Belair’s wonderful instructors.

Trialers Celebration 🥳

A big congratulations to our trialers who gained titles this year. We have never seen so many dogs gain this many titles in one year. We celebrated this by awarding them with badges that states the title achievement. Thankyou to Iain and Aggie, Anna Drax and Ripley, and Julie and Indy for receiving theirs at our end of year event at Mt Barker on Saturday. Titles are not an easy thing to gain. It takes an incredible amount of training and perseverance so a big congratulations to everyone who attempted this this year. I will make another post of all titles gained in 2024 soon.

We celebrated our final graduation of the year at Mt Barker with these lucky graduates. Graeme and his corgi also graduated from grade 2. Congratulations everyone on learning your new skills to allow you to progress to the next grade.

It was DogsSA awards night tonight for Top Dog. Well Michael and Opal received not one award but three awards!!!! That is such a huge achievement . Well done for getting top dog in Companion Dog, Rally Advanced and Rally Excellent. On behalf of all of us at Klever Kanine a HUGE congratulations Michael and Opal 👏🐾🏆

On Sunday a few of our members competed at SAODC obedience and tricks trial. Iain and Aggie came first in their CCD class and are now TITLED. Well done and a great score too. 👏

Iain and Aggie ventured to Munno Para where they achieved a CCD pass and second place and a pass in Rally Advanced.
They then competed at Murray Valley where they achieved another CCD pass and first place and another Rally Advanced pass which is their TITLE! Well done🏆

Carol and Sherlock also attended Murray Valley where they achieved two Rally Novice passes and a second place.
Well done to you both. Great results 👏
