Here are some helpful tips for keeping your dog calm and safe on New Years Eve:

• Keep your dog indoors: Loud noises from fireworks or poppers can startle dogs, causing them to run away
• Exercise your dog: Tire your dog out before the festivities with a long walk
• Distract your dog: When fireworks are going off, try to distract your dog with something positive, like a treat, a game, or affection

If you know your dog is frightened by loud noises there are products, such as calming treats, tablets and jackets that we have available, which might be helpful
