Had nice cuddles with Jaffa boy before he stepped into the ring to win his class today at the Golden Retriever Specialty Show. So pleased he made the trip over from Melbourne to enjoy our beautiful sunny Adelaide day, Jaffa is the father our most recent Ivy litter, what a beautiful temperament and so friendly to have complimented our Ivy. FULL NAME: Ivy Acorn Maybach
DOB: 22.9.22
FAMILY: I’m the youngest member of the team. My amazing mum Maple, Grandmother Winter and Great Grandmother Daisy.
GREATEST ACHIEVEMENTS: Catching food. Place. Down. Bringing the ball back for another round of fetch. I’m yet to prove myself with a litter of puppies one day soon.
FAVOURITE HOBBIES: Playing soccer. A nice walk which includes lotsa sniffing. I love swimming.
Sleeping upside down.
FAVOURITE FOODS: Cheese and more cheese. Yoghurt and frozen berries with coconut oil, I can’t have to many at once because I’ve been told about brain freeze.
PET HATES: Being told to go outside in the morning after a solid night sleep by the fire.
BESTIE: Daisy my grandmother, we have such good ear tugging play times.

Excited pet parents now have Winter & Alfie new pups in their homes over the weekend all except 1 boy, Alfie, the couple from NT have called him, he needs to wait 'til he is 12 weeks of age so he can take his flight to Darwin and then to Gove, Northern Territory, the owners will be very envious to see these photos of pups in their new homes, but time will fly by and they will be together soon.
Double excitement and congratulations to a family, taking home 2 boys, Gus & Jack.

6 Weeks
Hard to believe the time has flown by, and now we are at week 6.
They have experienced the tunnel, which they showed confidence and took to this new caterpillar with ease, lots of seeing this brush looking thing with a long stick on the end called a broom making the leaves all disappear, general loud noises, attacking a small human visitor 😆 , almost the perfect sits and are just living the best lives exploring all the new things that are exposed to them and of course the loads of cuddles we get to share.

They are so excited to be outside, looking more active - than sleeping all day, lots to explore and continuing to form relationships with us as they interact, getting to know more and more of our scent and touch.
