Welcome to the new Sirromet parkrun mascots.

We have watched Dad build an impressive mound for Mum to lay her eggs. Now there are two beautiful babies foraging near our start.

Well that's a wrap for the last parkrun of 2024!
Today we 37 people come out to run and walk the hills of Sirromet 17 we're first timers to Sirromet!
We had a photo finish at the end with Steve and Rodney - great run in a time of 21:24. Joanne was our first female across the line in a time of 24:41
A huge shout out to Linda for completing her 50th volunteer this year! She has done a total of 226 volunteers! Thanks so much for all you do Linda. We really appreciate you.

Sirromet event #370 - Christmas edition!
Today we had 36 runners and walkers embrace the hills of Sirromet!
7 first timers to Sirromet we hope you enjoyed it and will come back again.
Congratulations to Steve, our first male across the line in a time of 23:20 and to Kat our fist female finisher in a time of 25:52

This Saturday is the last one before Christmas. Why don't you put on your ugly Christmas top and head down to beautiful Sirromet for a run?! Please leave your four legged friends at home as they are not allowed on the grounds.

What a steamy morning it was for today’s parkrun! Well done to the 29 participants who braved the heat to run, jog, and walk the course. Huge congratulations to our first finishers, Kane Tarrant and Emma Viney, Adrian Pearce & Rita Arimura for course PB’s & to our 9 first timers!

A massive thank you to our amazing volunteers who made it all happen: Juanita, Isabelle, Mitsy, Peter, Scott, and Steve. Your support and dedication are greatly appreciated!

Join us this Saturday for another fantastic morning at Sirromet parkrun! Whether you’re chasing a PB, enjoying a scenic walk, or catching up with friends, there’s something for everyone.

Details:

📍 Location: Sirromet Winery, Mount Cotton
⏰ Time: 7:00 AM start (arrive by 6:45 AM for the briefing)
🏃 Course: A mix of trails and paths, with a few gentle hills to keep it interesting.

Reminders:

✔️ Don’t forget your barcode – no barcode, no time!
✔️ Bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated.
✔️ Volunteers make parkrun possible – thank you to our amazing volunteers.
