Treatment day for my own horse🦄

The raw reality for the both of us coming back after most of 2024 off apart from a few rides here or there. Things aren’t like they used to be pre baby and when in full work and before having laminitis.

Third week back into things and we are working on are, fitness, forward rhythm, straightness, suppleness, sitting up straight an even, transitions, ground poles only and most of all not putting so much pressure I myself an him after all this time off.
Making sure we have decent warm ups,our rides aren’t long, we finish off our rides with a cool down around the property.
We still have lots to work on an a fair few treatments to go before I’m happy where he is at but for now it’s slow and steady.

Horses in work or coming back into should be treated or at least checked on a regular basis, 6-8weeks is generally recommended to keep ontop of things and making sure no major issues arise, in saying all this making sure feet,teeth,gear,gut health are all in good order, if none of these are then you’ won’t be able to get the full potential out of your horse or you.
Before and after photos are always a good comparison as well!

Wednesday’s in the near further, every second Saturday from 25th Jan(booked out)
Feb 8th-Sunbury/Macedon Rangers.
Treatments includes
Assessmentx2 before and after session, massage, acupuncture and red light as well as any other recommendations(ie stretching etc)each session goes anywhere from 45mins to 1.5hrs this depends on every horse.

Exciting News🤩🤩

As of Saturday January 25th I will be back treating every second Saturday.
A day during the week will be available in the near future once I know which day I will be sure to let you all know.
All services will be available🦄
As I will only be doing selected days, these days may book up quickly, best get in early to avoid missing out.
Bringing your horse to me is also available during the week, keeping in mind I would have my kids with me which you’d need to be fine with, so please be patient 😜
I look forward to getting back out and working with you all again😍
*Fees do apply if urgent/Sunday/late notice, horse takes longer then 30mins to float load or for whatever reason is unsafe to travel.
*Conditions apply for Hot weather( no transporting/treatments over 35 degrees unless emergency)

I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported me through 2024 it’s looked a little different this year with being pregnant and having another child, so thank you to everyone that has stayed and supported me,your support is greatly appreciated.

I hope to be travelling out for treatments in January sometime but this will depend on a few things, alternatively bringing your horse to me, if you have access to a float.
Transporting short distances under 1.5hrs from A-B, this still includes moving,agistment, vet, show trips etc.
Short notice/Urgent/Sunday/30min no loading and unsafe fees do apply.
The days I do travel out for either treatments or transporting are limiting, while my baby is still young.
Will also be offering lessons around horses (beginner only)ground work and float loading, rehab/strength training, weekly packages in the new year.
Also best to msg me so I can reply when I get a chance as I can’t always answer ☺️

Just a little update as I’ve been so quiet for good reason 😜

Those of you who don’t know I had my baby girl on 11th Oct 🤱🏻👶
Now I know some have asked when am I back treating or transporting, I have decided that transporting long distances won’t be available for a while, short distances how ever will be available.
Treatments will be back up an running, I will only be travelling out one (maybe two depending) days a week, this being said I will only be doing certain days which at this stage possible a Saturday.
You are more than welcome to bring your horse to me to have them treated.
I will be taking bookings from the middle of November but please keep in mind this is limited availability for now.

**Important update**

Treatments and Transporting(small trips an good floater/loader only)is now very very limiting.
As I’ll be expecting my baby within the next 8ish weeks, as I need to start slowing down, those who know me well know this is a difficult task for me 🙈
Sorry in advance if I need to shuffle your appointment around but I’m sure you all understand..
I know some have asked when I’ve seen you will I be back, the answer is YES I will be don’t worry!
In saying this your more then welcome to bring your horse to me, if I am not yet travelling out.

The power of bodywork in just one session is something else.
Still things to work on but just wanted to take a moment to show you how much a horse can change with one session, if we can achieve this in one go imagine what you can do after a few sessions an correct work/stretches etc

Remember that not all horses get a big change straight away, as each horse is different.
Myself an the owner are just so glad she’s finally on the path to having her horse back again!

⭐️Important updates⭐️

Some services will be restricted or not available for the time being reason being,
As some of you may already know, I am currently expecting baby come October 2024👶.
I am sad to not offer an restrict some services but this is for my mine and baby’s safety, as we all know how some horses can be.

Float Training is no longer available for the time being.
Transport will be restricted to smaller trips an easier to handle horses, if your horse is a problem loader( please be honest) this can only be done on a selected amount of Saturdays( surcharges will apply) this is purely so I have an extra pair of hands to help me.
Treatments I will be doing treatments from my home base every Monday to those who wish to travel to me.
I am also available to do treatments from a property out in Lara for those who wish to travel to me in Lara.
I will still be able to come to you days are limiting and will be school hours, so please be patient when needing a booking..

I hope you can appreciate an understand these changes😀

Updates for Easter and School Holidays🐰

I will be unavailable from 27th March to 1st April, those who contact me within this time may not get a reply until the 1st of April.

Days and times will be limited until 14th April due to school holidays.

⭐️⭐️Moving forward⭐️⭐️⭐️
Sundays are unavailable due to kids playing sports.
All Thursdays are unavailable.
Certain days treatments will be held from my home base at a discounted rate to those who are happy to bring there horse to me.(most likely a Monday)
I will still be travelling other days.
Transport loading time frame will be decreasing from 45mins to 30mins.
If your horse is known to not safely load please do let me know when booking in, this is extremely important for bookings.

These changes an changes to come are due to some personal/health/family reasons, which I hope everyone can understand.
Business is still all as per usual with just a few changes😀

Owners/horse that get bodywork done more regular then some will now receive a discount
First initial $100
Follow up at 2 week appointment $90 this will also apply if your horse is needing fortnightly treatments due to injury or rehab.
Horses on regular routines of 6-8weeks will also be $90
If you get your horse done every 8-12weeks $95
12 weeks and beyond full price of $100
You must pre book these appointments accordingly to receive these loyalty prices ☺️

The benefits of having your horse done regularly are far more beneficial then every 6-12months. Regular treatments mean you keep you horse in top shape as well as get ontop of any issues that may arise.

Transporting was unavailable due to a breaking issue but will be back up an running after this week.
Bodywork an float training as normal 😃
Transporting prices start at $165( min short distance fee)

The Power of bodywork is nothing short of amazing 🤩🤩
I will post the other videos in the comments as they wouldn’t upload all together unfortunately.

The before an after videos speak for themselves with Toby, he has have some odd steps at times due to having string halt in the past but regularly treatments have really helped Toby along with his owner giving him everything that is needed..
Toby pulled up sore an really string halty over the Christmas New Year period, luckily I was able to get to Toby in a few days as it was urgent.

Toby as you will see in the after videos has recovered super.
This is a timely reminder that when you notice odd behaviours to get ontop of them asap, Toby is also on a regular treatment cycle which helps him 10 fold.

Now could you imagine if this wasn’t tended to asap or if he wasn’t treated so regular.
Obviously things are always a work in progress an we’re always trying to improve on things.

I’m greatful that Toby an his owner trust a believe in me an the power of bodywork.
All bodywork sessions get massage, redlight and acupuncture.

Unfortunately all transport is unavailable at the moment due to my car dying, guess that’s what happens when you’ve done the k’s I have 🤣
Treatments and float training( with your float) are still all available.

Please bare with me while I’m borrowing a car and sorting this all out.
I’m hopeful I won’t be off the road for to long.
Alternatively you’re welcome to bring your horse to me for treatments as well.

Just an update moving forward-

Any one that message via here, my mobile or even my own personal fb after 7pm will not be responded to straight away in-fact will be the next day.
Some days I can respond faster then others but please don’t keep calling and calling, if I don’t answer please just simply send a message and I will get back to you when I can, message is best most of the time.
If it is urgent and your horse needs to be taken to the vet etc then I will respond and let you know if I’m available to do it.

If wanting to book in to be able to book you in faster please let me know where your located, the number of horses, days that your available an which service your wanting, bodywork, float training or transport, please also let me know if your horse is a known problem loader.
All this will help me in booking you in at an appropriate time.☺️

I do try to fit everyone in where possible but sometimes this always doesn’t work, so please be patient.

Weekends and after hours are limiting, this may mean having to wait to fit you in.

**Remember we also have a heat policy coming into the warmer months!**

Please remember I am only human as well with two young kids an need my own down time.

As the weather warms up, more an more people are bringing there horse back into work, so why not get on top on everything an get them treated.

Did you know that getting your horse looked at either before or after few weeks of work is soo beneficial, not just when there is an issue or they have been in work for a fair bit.

Your horse will benefit from regular bodywork rather then once in a blue moon or not just oh my horse is now bucking/rearing etc because it’s sore an needs to be done like yesterday.
Sorry but this can sometimes take longer to resolve then you think at times,
It’s not always a case of one or two treatments FIX everything!!

Did you know you could of avoided all this by regular bodywork😱 mind blowing isn’t it 😛

Regular bodywork goes hand in hand with saddle fit or any gear, teeth, feet, overall health ie ulcers, laminitis the list goes on an on.

And and if we sit uneven, this can impact your horses body and way of going, yesss yess mind blowing again crazy right?!

In saying all this all we can do is beware of it an try to correct it as much as we can but our horse really does mirror us!
