Been awhile between posts, but we have not been idle. Group rides on Sundays are always a welcome break from the normal grind - and more so when we start connecting tracks in ways this group never used them in the past. With the addition of new horses, and different riders taking lead, it's great to see the growth in the group.

A brilliant day for a ride, and a good chance to let the horses stretch their legs, and the riders to absorb some vitamen D. Once again my phone battery died, which meant the GPS tracking and camera app for the Insta360 also stopped; but still managed to get some nice video.

A beautiful day for a ride through the seed plantation. Unfortunately my phones' battery ran out of juice, so the total kms' traveled is not reflected in the image at the start of the video ... a beautiful ride none the less :)

Another great day for a trail ride and good exercise for the horses which have been out of work for quite a few weeks. Bringing Regent back into the mix on his 3rd outing after having a 5 year break. Not bad for a 26yo chestnut Arab ... cant wait to get some kms' under his hooves :)

Please note, due to demand and to avoid disappointment, it is essential to book in advance.

Experienced riders only !! Unfortunately we do not have the horses for inexperienced / beginner riders.

At this stage, group rides are only available on weekends, and begin at 10am during daylight savings - 11am after daylight savings ends..

The cost is $35 per hour, and each ride is a minimum of 2 hours.

Longer rides are available upon request.

Helmets are supplied, and it is essential to wear appropriate footwear and clothing.

The last day for Autumn 2020 turned into a cracker day. Big sun, big trails and big smiles.

Doran Park trail rides is open this weekend to limited numbers, so make a call and grab some fresh air. Social distancing is still enforced but enjoy a couple of hours on horseback, great trails and some relaxing freedom.
