We are excited to announce that we are hiring for a casual position! The hours for this role will vary significantly based on our daily bookings. We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Confident in handling all dog breeds, sizes, and temperaments
- Experienced with managing large groups of dogs
- Physically fit and capable of moving quickly when necessary
- Observant, with the ability to monitor dogs for signs of fear, anxiety, or stress, and intervene appropriately
- Eager to learn about our dogs and their specific needs
- Comfortable handling all bodily fluids and performing clean-up tasks
- Able to multitask effectively
- Capable of communicating confidently and clearly
- Willing to learn fear-free handling techniques and consistently apply positive approaches
Preference will be given to applicants who have experience handling large groups of dogs and a strong understanding of dog behaviour.
