As everyone knows we are in lockdown.
A farrier in classified as an essential service, so during this time if you know someone who can't get there normal farrier and needs some sort of work down and I can help out I will.

Hi guys,
So an interesting case I came across recently.....does any one know what this might be?
The answer is a prolonged case of seedy toe. These pictures were taken after I had removed as much of the damaged hoof as appropriate for now and fitted the mare with a shoe to stabilise the foot and preserve the healthy hoof while we wait for the damage to grow out. It's a process that will take a little time but I am certain we will get there.

Trim - $35.00
Front Shoes only - $50.00 (shoes included)
Front Shoes Hinds Trimmed - $70.00 (standard shoes included)
Fronts Reset Hinds Trimmed - $60.00
Full Shoeing - $100.00 (standard shoes included)
Full Shoeing Reset - $80.00
Missing Shoe - $20.00
Drill stud holes - $10.00 per shoe
Pads - $10.00 per shoe.

If the weather is permitting the night before to be 36 degrees or above (using www.weatherzone.com.au) I will be cancelling for the safety of myself, the handler and the horse itself. its not pleasant standing there holding the horse at the best of times let alone while its so hot.
Please be understanding as i hate cancelling but due to the heat i think its best for business to reschedule the next available day possible.
