Agistment at our Academy is ideal for someone wanting to further their horses knowledge and their own skill level with regular coaching. Agistment costs, temporary and permanent, for those that enquired: Weekly cost $60: Add labour which includes preparing feeds and feeding out 3 times a day, unrugging and rugging as weather dictates $77 ($11/day), hay currently $63/week, manure collection $20, if owners cannot attend for farrier, dentist, etc. $15 to bring in, hold and put back out, but no extra fees for use of indoor, lights, etc. Hard feed cost and supply worked out to suit owner.

School horse lessons $135 with discount or $150 singly. getting too long so agistment costs on separate post.

Our Story

ACADEMY OF DRESSAGE PTY. LTD. Welcomes anyone interested in Classical Horsemanship and Working Equitation. We offer both Rider instruction & Training of Horses with and for their owners. Highest level and quality of instruction and training with Master Trainers Barrie & Sarita Stratton.

We welcome the opportunity to help you have some fun and realise your goals and dreams on either one of our highly schooled horses OR your own horse.

Training horses and riders since 1974, so with over 44 years of experience (90 years experience between us) we really do offer a unique experience, different from anywhere else, come and check us out and see for yourself!

We truly do have superb highly schooled horses to ride, but we also help lots of riders with their own horses enjoy their journey with the result of their horse becoming schooled and as a consequence a safe and happy horse achieved through logical systematic schooling.
