Discounted Grooms! up to 50% off.

We are looking for some well behaved dogs for our grooming students.
All dogs groomed within our academy receive up to 50% off the grooming price.

If you believe you have a dog suitable for the task please email [email protected].

Things to know

🐶Any dog that is being used for training will be groomed by students under supervision.
This means the groom may not be up to salon standard as these students are still learning.
🐶You must be happy for us to groom your dog in any style.
🐶Be prepared for imperfect grooms
🐶Allow us to film and photograph your dog.
🐶Discounts only apply when students are grooming your dog.
🐶Allow us to contact your previous groomer for a reference as not all dogs are suitable.
🐶Flexible availability

As we start to approach the last week before Christmas we would like to reflect back on 2024.

🌟We welcomed 3 new staff members to the Woof Team, Sara, Kestrel and Emilia
🌟 3 of our girls competed in grooming competitions all coming home with a place 🏅
🌟 3073 dogs came through our doors.
🌟 cavoodles were our most popular breed in the salon with 323 currently on our books.
🌟 388 new clients joined our pack.

We want to take the time to thank each and everyone of you for supporting us, we wouldn't be where we are today without you.

Would also like to thank our wonderful, hard working staff for a great year, and many more to come 🥰

We hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and we will see you all in 2025 🌟

Did you know, that Woof Avenue is the home to Newcastle Grooming Academy?

Newcastle Grooming Academy is the first and only academy in the Hunter Region that offers nationally recognised grooming courses.

We currently have 2 trainee staff members at Woof Avenue along with many students preparing to start their training in 2025.

The academy is always on the look out for well behaved dogs to use for training purposes.
If you think you have a dog that is suitable and you are happy for our students to practice on your loved dog (supervised of course) please reach out to Woof Avenue.
Dogs that are approved for training receive grooming discounts on training days.
