CQ Invitational Droughtmaster Sale lot 20 is a purebred herd bull which was born on Oct 29 in the 2023 fire, pictured here suckling his heifer mother in the ashes the next morning, a miracle survival. Now he is a large-framed power-house ready for the big stage, 38cm scrotal circ and 70% semen motility. He is an outstanding young bull, sired by one of our young sale bulls from 2022, out of a Minlacowie Vanderwolf daughter. Naturally, we call him Phoenix.

Heifers. We displayed both our D5 stud heifers and our F1 brahman cross experimental heifers at the open day. We did not really mention it much, but stud buyers may consider a purchase of a limited number of our stud heifers. Contact Rob to discuss further. The F1 heifers by Palmvale Quincey are not for sale, but are very impressive.

Parawanga cattle open day 2025 was another great success, with around a hundred or more people keeping us busy from before start time ( that's okay Matthew Richardson ) until after finush time. We really enjoy the positive vibes from all the people who bought bulls this year, in previous years, and keen on next year. It's so good to hear of the great job our bulls are doing. The 1397 bull is widely admired, and still available. The cow pictured was one of our 170 breeders, who mothered a 34 month old bull sold to Kolonga area. We will be busy loading out bulls for a couple more days.
