CQ Invitational Droughtmaster sale event is due to start at 10am Monday October 20, at CQLX, with a top draft of 51 quality bulls, including our 3 rising two-year old Parawanga bulls at lots 18, 19 and 20. All Sire-tested and Pompes negative, with NO myostatin genes. We have sold 18 bulls in the past 2 months, and these three are the best selected from that group of 21.
Lot 18, Parawanga CQ, is a PP bull by Calaanah Eggnog over a Billabong Vaughn daughter, and he shows the typical rich dark red sleek coat with very tidy sheath and great bone. He has a very strong, masculine head for a PP poll, along with great frame score and width, and he is a happy chap, so this bull would suit any operation from weaner or bullock production to replacement heifer or bull-breeding or stud duties, as he is a real herd-improver. Scrotal 35cm, motility 85%.
Lot 19 Parawanga Trinity is another polled son of Calaanah Eggnog over another Billabong Vaughn daughter, and impressed many of the one hundred-plus visitors at our open day, because of his length and depth of body, and rich red coat. Scrotal 37cm, motility 70%.
Lot 20 the yellow PP herd bull from a registered Minlacowie Vanderwolf daughter is the surprise package of the trio, with his superb growth for age, length and thickness, powerful polled head and very tidy sheath and 38cm scrotal and 75% motility at 21 months.
The other vendors are Minlacowie, Wingfield, Strathfield, Konjuli, Wantmore, Kenlogan, Cebella and Yellowwood, all with many years of experience and success in the business of breeding bulls.
