There's a couple of working spots left and some auditing spots still available. Mel has years of experience training dogs in obedience and trialling to the highest levels. She also works working and training detection dogs. This will be a great day of learning and a rare opportunity to learn from her 🌟

Teaching one of our day train dogs how to open a cupboard 🙂 This skill took a few weeks to teach (a few short sessions a day once a week as that’s how often he attends) There is a food reward inside the cupboard and I mark and reward his attempts until we reach the goal of opening the cupboard!

Here is a short video of a structured socialisation session from one of our day trains. It is important to teach dogs to learn how to interact appropriately with one another. There is no need for adrenalised craziness upon meeting another dog, which is when an altercation is more likely. We want a cocktail party not a rave! It is invaluable for young dogs and puppies to learn good social skills and have positive experiences interacting with other dogs 🐶

RECALL - it is arguably the most important command for your dog to learn, it could save their life...having a reliable recall enables your dog more freedom, now why wouldn’t any dog owner want that for their dog? Clear communication and taking the time to teach your dog is crucial.
