Nothing is more rewarding than having repeat clients and Cindalee Kelpies have been great supporters with this being their third SCK pup to head their way. Give them a follow and see their own team of dogs at work, they put a great start on their pups and we’ve loved watching the progression of previous pups and look forward to seeing what magic they make with Poppy.

Forbes Working Dog Auction wrap up! All three of our sale dogs were successfully sold on the day of auction exceeding our expectations and heading to good working homes. We achieved top price pup for the third year in a row which we are incredibly proud of especially how all three showcased themselves for such young dogs. Sales are always bitter sweet as we enjoy seeing them perform at their best but also have to say goodbye to part of the team. Thank you to the Forbes Working Dog Club, Elders, sponsors, all successful buyers and underbidders that made for a top sale.

We have been a little quiet here lately over the Christmas and New Year period. We hope everyone had a wonderful Chrissy and start to 2024.

Our 2024 has sadly started with the passing of our founding sire Mal. Our dear old Mal was the beginning of all things Stoney Creek Kelpies, siring some absolute cracker progeny. He had a huge heart that never quit and we are heartbroken he is no longer with us.
Forever missed but never forgotten.

Duggie had a real crack at the shootout last night, although no win he certainly made our team very proud! Being only 2 year old and very new to the trialling scene he has certainly gone above and beyond our expectations of him and has made the finals for the Maiden and Novice to be run this afternoon! 👏🏻

The Boys 🐾

Duggie and Rusty are looking good and are off to .d.c in Carcoar this weekend to put their skills to the test in both the cattle and sheep trial, while Duggie will also be strutting his stuff in the Sire Shootout tonight. They’ve been putting in the hard yards at work and thanks to all our doggie goodies we stock up from , they have maintained their form and are looking fit as they ever have!

We were so happy to showcase miss Pearl at Forbes today and achieve Top Price Pup for the second year in a row. There is a lot of time and hard work goes into our dogs be it breeding and/or training and to see them perform and achieve such results is extremely rewarding.

Thank you to all involved in the planning and running of the auction and the vendors and buyers that make the day. We are sure Pearl is off to achieve bigger and better things at her new home.
