hi Everyone - Chincogan Ridge will have 2x shared paddock (2 horses per huge paddock) openings for DIY Agistment in January. Requirements are

Friendly Geldings only
Must have current Hendra Vax
Owner must be prepared to keep paddock clean
No itchy horses :(
We have lots of grass so laminitic horses will not do well
Prefer someone with horsemanship priorities and who is prepared to see their horse at least daily.
Must be over 24yrs old
We are advocates of Forage, Freedom and Friends for all horses (and owners lols).

Also looking for someone who would like to clean paddocks regularly for some extra income (optional).

We hold regular clinics here with Ken Faulkner, Sofia Valenca and Jose Mendez. We have an ELD arena, large sand round-yard, kilometres of cleared trails, close to the beaches, club room, stables for pre-shows/illness, shelters and shade in all paddocks, auto waterers, optional float parking.

Full and part-care available for holidays etc.

An incredible 3 days of learning with Ken Faulkner - Australian Horsemanship Master Class Clinic at Chincogan Ridge Equestrian. Wisdom, guidance and a lot of fun and learning. The next one will be April11-13th 2025 limited ridden positions. PM to put your name down.

Thoughts for December - Giving your horses a break over this hot/wet/busy time? Keep up your in-hand work!
No matter what issue you think you have with your horse it will be eradicated with ground skill /in-hand work. Wont get on the float? GROUNDSKILLS, Bucks into the canter? GROUNDSKILLS. Cant be caught? GROUNDSKILLS. Afraid of new things? GROUNDSKILLS. Constantly shying? GROUNDSKILLS. I wish more horse owners would see the value of training this way correctly. Here at CRE we are blessed to have mentorship through Ken Faulkner, Sofia Valenca and Jose Mendez. Horses should be calm, polite, understand boundaries and happy.
Gone are the days of 'riding it outta them'. Gone are the days of fighting for a perceived 'win'. The journey never ends... ###
