With a broken heart we say goodbye to our beloved Pixie (Kaijoe Blue Rishima).

Aging is unavoidable and sadly with the cold and canine cognitive dementia we had to make the decision.

She was let go without pain, and peacefully.

She blessed us for 13 of her almost 15 years, everyone she met got a leg hug and her snorts are going to be missed.

We love you pixie pie. Go cause havoc wiith Baci, Orca, Bonnie, paddy and Duke in the best way you do.

We have made the decision to make this year our last year for breeding staffords.

With the rising numbers that are ending up in pounds, rescues and dumped, we feel adding to this is unwarranted.

Staffords will always be a love of ours and our dogs will always be our babies.

Our final litter/s will be planned for later this year and we are still working on our choices.

This is not an easy decision but a decision made for the welfare of the dogs already searching for their forever homes.

We have 2 Assisted 🏠 for 2 lovely lads.

Bolo sadly lost his owner earlier this year to cancer.

He was born 2017, has beautiful manners and looks like his daddy! He is located in NSW but can be flown anywhere in Australia at his new families expense. He loves kids and is great with other animals.

Buster is 3 and is a gorgeous red boy. He would be best suited to a home as a single dog. Located in NSW and can be flown anywhere in Australia at new families expense.

Both lads are available for their transport costs and are both desperately needing new families to love.

Both are desexed, chipped and pedigree papered.

New puppy buyers educational post ‼️

I’ve been seeing a lot of confusion of late from brand new puppy owners, and sadly puppies being sold under age, and unsuspecting families not understanding terminology.

When looking for a puppy you need to research. Sadly we have more dodgy breeders that are looking for making money, and have zero interest in what happens to the puppy after they have collected the payment. A great deal of these “ breeders” will then block the new owner or disappear as soon as an issue arises.

➡️ Age of sale. Puppies require a minimum of 8 weeks old with the breeder. No exceptions ❌ if mum rejects the pups as I’ve seen many “ breeders” claim, then it is still essential the puppies remain with their littermates for crucial behaviour and social skills BEFORE going to new homes.

➡️ “ Fully health tested” this is where breeders like to confuse buyers. All puppies need to see a vet at 6 weeks while still with the breeder for a vaccination, microchip and health check. A health check is where a vet does a quick assessment of the puppy. It does not mean the puppy has been health tested ❌

➡️ Full health testing is when BOTH parents of the litter have had hip and elbow X-rays, eye testing, heart test, DNA and bloods. Depending on the breed there may be more or less required. These tests results should be sighted or provided to the puppy owner. If the “ breeder” can’t produce these test results, the puppy has not had full health testing provided. It has had a minimum VET CHECK. This is a huge difference.

➡️ Pups are ” registered “ I’ve seen ” breeders” play with this term. It is now a legal requirement that every puppy sold in the country is registered with council. This does not mean your dog is a pure breed or fully registered ❌ for your puppy to have full registration papers they must be provided from the breeder from Dogs Australia (ANKC). I have seen many people fooled with this terminology and truly believe their cross breed is a “ fully registered dog”

➡️ Always view the parents where possible. DO NOT meet a breeder in a carpark without sighting Mum and littermates as an absolute minimum.

➡️ If you view puppies and they have fleas, ribs showing, tiny for age, runny eyes, urine burn, covered in poo, big swollen tummies. Then walk away! Buying that puppy does not mean you rescued it ❌ it means you lined a dodgy breeders pockets and now have a sick dog!

➡️ Puppies sold at 8 weeks MUST be microchipped, wormed and vaccinated with that documentation provided as an absolute minimum. This paperwork MUST be handed over with the puppy, you do not need to wait for it! Official ANKC registered papers should be posted out by the breeder within a few weeks of the purchase as the litter needs to be officially processed.

I’m happy for registered breeders to jump in with any other information I’ve missed. And for people considering buying a pup. Please ask lots of questions. If breeders are getting annoyed with all your questions that’s a red flag 🚩 🚩

And if you have any doubts before purchase, ask on here or breed specific pages. No matter how silly you think the question might be. Researching and finding out all the correct information can save you a great deal of heart ache and vet bills in the future. Don’t worry about how cute the puppy is if you need to walk away. There is always more available!

BUYER BEWARE !!!!

The ANKC (Australian National Kennel Control Ltd.) is the ONE and ONLY official registry able to issue Certified Pedigrees for purebred dogs. There are two types of pedigree certificates from the ANKC.

Only ANKC Main Registered dogs are eligible to be exhibited at shows which the pedigree certificate is blue. All other dogs not registered on the main register will be put on limited register which is an orange pedigree certificate with the ANKC that states not for breeding purposes or export.

All other registries such as those listed below are NOT affiliated with the ANKC and cannot issue Certified Pedigrees.
MDBA (Master Dog Breeders and Associates)
ABR (Australian All Breeds Registry)
Australian Canine Registry
ICBS (International Canine Breeders Studbook)...................the list goes on !

Do your homework before purchasing your puppy, and contact your ANKC State Regulator ( Dogs NSW, Dogs QLD, Dogs VIC, Dogs SA, Dogs West (WA), Dogs TAS,

Our beautiful Suki has been confirmed pregnant.

We are super excited for this last litter from her. So far her pups have all shown to have her beautiful chilled nature, gorgeous looks (also a huge thanks to their dads!) and personality to boot!

Suki has been bred to Ben (Pickaxe the Man Behind the Mask) from Echostaffs.

If you want to make a registered Staffordshire Bull Terrier breeder cringe, go ahead and call their dogs Staffies, or better yet....English Staffies 😜

👉 Registered breeders refer to their breed as 'Staffords' 👈

❌ There's no such breed as an 'English Staffy', they're simply Staffordshire Bull Terriers.

🧐 So what's the difference between the 'small' ones and the 'big ones?

They're entirely different breeds, the larger version is called an 'American Staffordshire Terrier', which the general public often calls 'Amstaffs'.

Time has flown so fast!

Our beautiful Suki has come into season for her final litter. We have decided on Ben (Pickaxe the Man Behind the Mask) as her final pairing.

We are inviting interest in this litter that will be predominantly red. As with all our pups our adult dogs are fully DNA tested and cleared, pup will be available with mains registered ANKC papers, desexing agreement, insurance and a complete puppy pack.
