14hh 2015 Liver Chestnut mare

Opal is an all round awesome little pocket rocket, she's a very non topical chestnut mare. She was born with us (purchased her dam in foal) and has always been a much loved family horse.

Opal is super cowy and kind with zero dirt on the ground or under saddle. Good after a spell (we tipped her out to have a foal in 2023 and she has come back in work with zero issue)

Opal was startd by Rob Hodgman as a 3 year old and spent 6 months in his program before we moved back to QLD. She has been to weekend snaffle bit cuttings, ranch club days, and is very reliable and honest as a school horse and lesson horse with intermediate riders and up. Handy on a beast and a lot of fun to ride. She would go far with consistent work.

She works off feet, seat and neck reining, has been bridled up but is not a finished one handed horse yet, with time there is no doubt she could be.

Our now 7 year old son has been riding her on and off for the last couple of years, he handles her, brushes her, leads her, picks up her feet, washes her etc etc.

She is worth her weight in gold and is only available as we are focusing on client horses and need to make the space. We will not be sad to see her stay if others go first.

Up to date with feet and teeth. Had one foal with no issues and was a wonderful mum.

Home and price is NOT negotiable. She will remain in work until s.o.l.d. Please genuine enquiries only. If you don't have the dollars, space, approval etc. She is the not the one for you

Myself (Danni) and a couple of our team Paragon members Fiona & Naomi headed to Toogoolawah bright and early this morning to work our horses on some fresh cows with Rick and Juliann at JR Cutting.

A little too much fun was had by all 🤣 and the horses worked wonderfully. We truly appreciate the hospitality from Rick and Juliann, the cows and surface were great 🤠

BIG thank you to Paul who stayed behind to feed up and work client horses while we disappeared to play in the sandpit all morning 😘

Paul had another nice confidence boosting session with Manny today ❤️

Manny has joined us to overcome his habit of shying at everything... and nothing 🙄
This big fella is lacking in confidence and doesn't seem to have had sufficient desensitising in his earlier years to help set him up for the future.

Back to basics is the approach with Manny, introducing him in a calm and supportive manner to new obstacles and experiences. He is a lovely boy who really wants to please and is trying hard to overcome his demons 🥰

Hondo is a striking looking and beautifully put together young c**t, by proven producer and performed stallion Joker who has made his mark in Cutting and Ranch and who now has progeny competing solidly in those events and more.

Hondo's dam Bella is not only a proven performer herself (novice and youth cutting and campdrafting) but she is also a daughter of the well known and highly performed stallion Dually Cool. Solid breeding and alot of talent are on both sides of this little man's family tree.

Hondo is offered on terms until weaning, he will come with full AQHA Registration, and be taught to lead, tie, pick up feet, rug, wash and float.

Wow!! What a weekend!! Amazing group of people & horses, lovely facilities with awesome hosts that made us all feel so welcome 🥰 and so much fun was had!!

Can't believe this mare is still available!! Honest, kind, no dirt, great after a spell and to top it off we had a client ride her on cows for the first time in over two years yesterday and she was cool, calm and cowy!! This little mare is ready to go and have a heap of fun on as well as be super competitive!!

She's extremely cool on the trail, out on her own or in company, no matey behaviour, and no dirt with other horses.

Opal is getting better and better with every work and her price will increase with work. Snap her up while she's at a bargain price!
