Growing winter cereal crops - Awnless Barley, Awnless Wheat, Oats & Lucerne to to process for chaff Customer pick-ups on farm can be arranged via appointment.

Will be organising deliveries to customers on set days and servicing Griffith, Leeton, Narrandera and Coleambally.

Beardless Barley 4ft Rounds $80 ex farm. Delivery can be arranged for town areas Leeton/Narrandera or Griffith within our usual run. We can also chaff it. $22.50 for a 20kg Bag delivered in town areas Leeton/Narrandera or Griffith within our usual run. Otherwise $21.50 ex farm. We also have small squares available. They are heavy bales and are $16 ex farm or $17 delivered in our usual runs for town areas of Leeton/Griffith or Narrandera.

First cab off the rank is our Awnless Barley. This means it doesn’t have those nasty awns in the seed head (spikes) that can stick in your horse’s mouths when eating.
Once these windrows are dry enough the crop will be baled into small squares and round bales for chaff and hay sales. Pending weather baling is likely to occur in about 7-10 days time.Once baling is completed a feedtest along with an annual rye grass toxicity test will be done.
