🎉Congratulations to our July Puppy Preschool graduates!!! 🎉

We wish Harlow, Roxy, Willa and Winnie all the very best with their future training. We had an excellent 5 weeks full of fun, learning and new furever friends!

Willa and Harlow were the boss girls of the class and battled through their excitement to instantly hit it off as besties. (Even if Willa did doze off mid-class sometimes!) Sweet reserved Winnie watched all the fun and quickly came out of her shell in no time. There was no doubt Roxy turned up to every class full of energy and ready to see all of her friends again!

Our next Puppy Preschool course will be starting in mid-August. Bookings are essential so please call the clinic on (07) 3482 4508 to register your interest.

🐶Is your pet carrying some extra weight? 🐶

You should be able to feel your pet's ribs without pressing too hard. A pet with a healthy weight will have good energy levels, be active, and engage in play without becoming excessively tired or lethargic.

Goldie and Umka struck up a friendship straight away with their bright, bubbly and energetic personalities. Little but mighty Rosie always showed her fearless nature and get in on the action. Humphrey never failed to wipe the smile off his face, even if he was dozing off during the information sections. Nugget had so much energy bundled up but never failed to follow cues, provided there were treats!

⚠️Feline Vaccinations⚠️
Whether your cat is inside and outside they still require a vaccination every single year. All cats will receive a F3 Vaccination that protects against:
- Panleucopenia
- Leukaemia
- Cat Flu (Calicivirus, Herpesvirus, Bordetella Bronchiseptica)

For cats that roam outside it is highly recommended to receive an FIV vaccination to protect against Feline Immunodefiency Virus. FIV is spread predominantly via cat bites due to their large quantities found in the saliva.

To enquire about vaccinations for your cat, contact us on (07) 3482 4508 to chat to one of our friendly nurses!

VETMD-MURRUMBA DOWNS VET

Located north of Brisbane in the Moreton Bay Region of Queensland, we welcome pets and pet parents from all suburbs.

Once an open plan Network Video store, the VetMD clinic is now a fully-equipped and practically laid out veterinary haven. We built this clinic, and wrote our policies with very specific missions in mind - to provide a fresh approach to veterinary care. A few ways we are demonstrating our mission includes offering separate dog and cat waiting areas, dedicated species consultation rooms, private grieving and visiting room, separate insulated dog and cat hospital wards, and more.

At VetMD, we aim to provide a comprehensive, professional and compassionate veterinary service including surgical and medical. We recognise the significance of your pets and the place they hold in your family. We treat cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rodents, reptiles and birds. Find out more about us by contacting us on 3482 4508 or bring your pet to meet our team at anytime!
