🚨 NEVER feed your horse grass clippings! 🚨
It might seem harmless, but lawn mower and garden clippings can be extremely dangerous for horses. Fresh grass clippings start fermenting quickly, producing gas that can cause painful and even fatal colic. Since the grass is already chopped up, horses swallow it without chewing, skipping the natural breakdown process needed for safe digestion.
Garden clippings are just as risky—some plants and trees are toxic to horses, and they won’t be able to tell the difference when eating. A single mouthful could be life-threatening.
Keep your horse safe and stick to proper feed! 🐴❌🌱
