Let's Train Dogs! provides private training sessions and help with behavioural issues. After starting my own business Let’s Train Dogs!

in 2012 I joined the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) Australia and am dedicated to use force free methods (positive reinforcement training). In June 2013 I joined the Story Dogs (http://www.storydogs.org.au) as dog assessor. I received my Cert III for Dog Behaviour and Training in January 2013. In addition to the core content I’ve also finished the unit for training dogs for basic assistan

ce roles. I attended all APDT Australia conferences since I joined the association and am constantly increasing my knowledge via books, DVDs, online courses and webinars as well as being a member of numerous discussion groups with dog trainers from all over the world. I also attend weekend seminars and workshops when possible (e.g. Steve Austin 2012, Emily Larlham aka Kikopup 2012, TTouch with Robyn Hood 2012,Kamal Fernandez 2013, Ian Dunbar 2014, Suzanne Clothier in 2014 and Nicole Wilde in 2015). I am providing one-on-one consultations and training sessions tailored to your and your dog's needs.

Last night's graduate at the Murwillumbah Vet Clinic , she's a beautiful gentle dog that is learning lots of new things at home - for the fun of learning and a great relationship. Looking forward to shared walks and playtime!

It was Darcy and her family's turn to graduate - we'll miss having this confident girl around and enjoyed seeing the whole family being involved in her training at the Murwillumbah Vet Clinic New classes start in the first week of April - please book in early to secure your spot.

Tonight's students at the Murwillumbah Vet Clinic puppy class. Apart from doing various exercises we were talking about cleaning ears, brushing teeth, wiping eyes, cutting nails and checking for ticks and how to teach the puppies that those things are okay and part of life (and pay really well while getting used to them 😃).

Greg is tonight's graduate from puppy school at the Murwillumbah Vet Clinic - he brought me flowers to say thanks 😀💐 which was a first. You'll see in the comments that he can be a bit of a handful 😉. He was a bit hesitant at the beginning when being approached by other puppies - not tonight - which was so nice to watch! Very much looking forward to continuing working with these two!!

The next available spot for the puppy class is on the 21st of March.

Here are a few more of our graduates from the Murwillumbah Vet Clinic puppy classes. Six weeks go by way too quickly! There are open spots available if you and your puppy would like to join us on Tuesday evenings from 6pm-7pm.

That's a wrap for the first Puppy School in 2022 - I will miss both - puppies and owners and asked for photos to see the puppies grow. Congratulations to all participants for being there and putting work into practicing what you learnt with your dogs - may it continue throughout their lives!

Exciting news! This week sees the return of Puppy Classes in the clinic!! Local dog trainer Susanne Brun will host the classes. Susanne runs local business “Let’s Train Dogs” . She uses marker training with a focus on reward - based training and aims to make training fun for both dog and owner.
