In order to achieve the highest quality of diagnostic and therapeutic care possible, a team was assembled from across the world. Combined with the talents of Scone Equine Hospital, this international group

of experts prides itself on offering the most innovative and effective solutions for you and your horse's needs. We also offer an onsite Farrier Supply Shop specialising in therapeutic hoof care products.

Introducing Dr Brodie Argue – Our Equine Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation Veterinarian! 🐴✨

Brodie has a special interest in Equine Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation, bringing a wealth of knowledge and passion for helping horses achieve peak performance and recovery. His clinical focus is on lameness, rehabilitation, and diagnostic imaging. He also has training in veterinary acupuncture and experience strength and conditioning of the equine athlete. Brodie will be sitting his board specialist exam in Sports Medicine in early 2025. 🐎

Brodie is no stranger to the Scone Equine Group, working across two clinics – Tamworth Equine Veterinary Centre and Avenel Equine Hospital in 2018. During this time, he served as an onsite veterinary consultant for Nutrien Equine at the Classic Campdraft Sale and as an onsite sports medicine veterinarian for the NCHA Futurity. 🏥

Brodie is currently based at our Tamworth Equine Veterinary Centre and travels weekly to The Equine Podiatry and Lameness Centre. Please call our clinic to book an appointment 6543 2000. 📱

We were delighted to be major sponsors of the Professional Farriers Association PFA NSW, Australia Australian Apprentice Farrier Competition again this year. 🙌

Competitors from all over the country engaged in forging and shoeing activities showcasing their craftmanship and learn new skills. 🔨

The prestigious Ray Lincoln Trophy was awarded to Harry Sturgeon for Hi-Point Apprentice throughout the program. Congratulations Harry! 🏆

Another successful Vet/Farrier Apprentice Day was hosted by our team in conjunction with the Professional Farriers Association PFA NSW, Australia. 🔨

Over 25 attendees were eager to learn with a can-do attitude. The team discussed the importance of Vet/Farrier relationships and common podiatry case studies incorporated through practical sessions. 🤩

A fabulous learning opportunity for our young and enthusiastic apprentice farriers who have travelled far and wide for this weekend's EPLC Australian Apprentice Farrier Competition. 🙌

Meet Jess Munro. Known to many of her colleagues as 'Foo', Jess brings a whole new level of the meaning to the word 'Passionate'. Jess grew up on the back of horse and after spending a great deal of time in the showjumping and showing scene, Jess finally branched off to her real love - rodeos. Jess spends a huge amount of time travelling around the countryside breaking in horses, in a bid to continue to build a team of horses around her to take on the best of the best in the country and be competitive. Jess's drive and commitment is beyond anything in most girls her age and we are supportive of her every step of the way. Emily Ninness is one of our 2019 SEG Ambassadors. What we love about Emily is her passion and dedication to her horses, in particularly her Stock Horse Chrome. She competes successfully in such a wide range of disciplines (all on one horse), including holding an Australian Title in Tent Pegging... now that's impressive. What we also love is that not only does Emily want to keep improving her riding, she also wants to give back to Pony Club when she is older. SEG Ambassador - Sophie Edmonds... our little POCKET ROCKET. Sophie and her black flash Deano, along with her other talented steed Wombat, are what you call the ultimate Rodeo Team. One of the things we love most at Scone Equine Group, is the passion that our veterinarians bring to their job each day. Dr Katie Offer is no exception, and for the past 12 months, she has done a fabulous job completing our Equine Medicine and Critical Care Internship at our Clovelly ICU Unit in our Scone Equine clinic. Last week we celebrated Katie's last week as an intern with SEH, and she very kindly reflected on her time here over the past 12 months. We wish her all the very best with her future endeavours which includes a well deserved holiday, followed by an Equine Medicine Fellowship at Hagyard Equine Medical Institute next year.
