COWBOY combination wins again!!! My Mate Kate and Braith Nock receiving 1st place in the Country Boosted (1400 meters) at Mudgee yesterday. An impressive ride by Braith aboard a horse that fights to the very end. A fantastic effort by Apache Jewel picking up fourth in the same race.

⭐️Apache Doc ⭐️got his first Win at Taree today ! What an awesome effort from the big boy. It was a tough race where he was positioned at the end but Matt Palmer rode him a treat and got the win for Ben and I. Congratulations to the trainer Ben Lees and his team. Job well done ❤️

We are extremely excited to let you all know that our girl “Apache Jewel” won her first race at Newcastle Provincial tab meeting on Saturday 11, February in the Maiden Plate (1600 metres). A big thank you to the Jockey Darryl McLellan (Digger) for his experience and outstanding ride.
It’s been along time coming, she has tested our patience but Ben never gave up on her as he knew she was something special. With all the challenges she has thrown at us she’s taught us how to be a better trainer and we are thankful for that.
I’d like to thank Luke Hollis for taking her to the races for us as Ben had prior commitments. I can tell you driving down the highway Ben was riding her all the way home, Yelling lol. I bet the people driving past was wandering what the hell he was doing.
Congratulations to the owners Dennis McEnearney and Laura Johnson. Thanks for entrusting us and giving the Ben Lees team the opportunity to work with this great horse. Dennis has given us so much support and encouragement along the way and we are so happy to be able to give this win to him ❤️
