🦎Bearded Dragon cuteness🦎

Meet Ghost who came in to see Dr Sian after his dedicated owner noticed he wasn’t quite right and was having some diarrhoea.

Did you know that parasites are a common health concern for bearded dragons? Internal parasites (like pinworms or coccidia) and external parasites (like mites) can cause serious health issues if left untreated.

As in Ghosts case, intestinal parasites can be picked up easily with a faecal float exam and a microscope!

Signs of Parasites:
⚠️ Weight loss or lack of appetite
⚠️ Diarrhea or abnormal stool
⚠️ Lethargy or weakness
⚠️ Bloating or discomfort
⚠️ Visible mites on skin or in enclosure

Prevention Tips:
✅ Regular vet checkups & f***l exams
✅ Keep the enclosure clean & properly sanitized
✅ Quarantine new reptiles before introducing them
✅ Wash hands before and after handling

If you notice any symptoms with your scaly friend give us a call! 0754412355 Early detection can save your dragon’s life

Meet Our Tough Little Patient! 🐔

This handsome rooster named Igor, recently visited our clinic with a painful foot. After a thorough exam and an X-ray with Dr Jo, we discovered he had a broken toe! 🦴🐓

With some careful bandaging and a little TLC, he’s on the road to recovery. Chickens may be small, but they can be tough patients—luckily, his dedicated owners brought him in for the care he needed!

Wishing this brave boy a speedy recovery! ❤️

Our Story

All Animal Veterinary Services started providing care to the animals of the Sunshine Coast around 30 years ago. Back then the area remained quite rural and it was common to see all animals from horses and cows to cats, dogs, guinea pigs and the list goes on. Now that the Sunshine Coast is more developed and less rural we find ourselves seeing much less large animals and more small family pets. We have seen some great veterinarians through to their retirement, and also welcomed new vets to begin their journey with our team.

Our mission is to provide, with care and compassion, veterinary services of the highest standard for our patients through every stage of their life. We understand that animals are an important member of the family and thus deserve the most optimal care possible. We feel that the animal-human bond is crucial to human health and happiness, so we strive to ensure that we look after the welfare of the animal to the very best of our ability. Therefore, our commitment to you is to provide you with the highest standard of veterinary services. We have high expectations of ourselves, so we aim to do the very best for you and your animals.

Our veterinarians are experienced capable practitioners who pride themselves in quality work and who keep up to date with the latest developments within the veterinary science industry. Our veterinary nurses, receptionists and groomer are highly regarded for their ability to help both our clients and their animals. They are fully trained in many aspects of animal care and regularly attend courses and seminars, thus enhancing their skills and knowledge.

We offer high quality veterinary services for dogs, cats, small pocket pets such as guinea pigs, rats etc and any transportable farm animals such as sheep, goats and calves. In addition to normal veterinary services, we offer pet grooming, puppy preschools and pre-export preparation procedures for pets.
