Zed Dezign Studio - Workshop. We hosted a lovely group of spinning ladies. Morning - In the alpaca shed learning how to identify good alpaca fibre for spinning. Looked at some excellent fleeces and not so good fleeces. both Suri and Huacaya. They learned to identify second cuts, hairy bits, tender fleece, VM vegetable matter, guard hairs. They all passed my test before we left the shed for lunch in the studio. well done girls :-) Afternoon they learned the wet felting technique and created their own dezigned table mat. excellent day was had by all.
