TRICKS & TREATS is coming to the Naracoorte Show this weekend!! 🐶 (Saturday 19th October) Naracoorte P&A Society Show

A great little LCCT event created for the kids and their best furry friend, to bring some fun into training.. with tricks!

For just $5 on the day, kids can bring their pooch to the main arena after the Pet Show, for a tricks training session and have fun learning and performing some neat tricks 🐾

We also have some great prizes and certificates up for grabs ⭐️ thanks to our sponsor and friends Tatiara Vets & Animal Behaviour Coaching⭐️ for the following sections:

🐾 Best Shake

🐾 Best Rollover

🐾 Best Dog Handler

🐾 Best Dog

The training session will start at approximately 11am (may vary depending on the Pet Show), any children younger than 8 years old will need to be accompanied by an adult. All children participating must be capable of safely handling their dog. Please make sure your pooch is secure with a well filling collar and lead. If your dog is food sensitive, please bring your own treats, otherwise treats will be available for training on the day. All p**p MUST be picked up and disposed off appropriately 🐶 💩

🐾PUPPY FOUNDATION COURSE Term 4 locations & start dates🐾

Do you have a puppy aged between 6 weeks and 6 months? Then the Puppy Foundation Course is the must-do course for you! 🐕
This Course has been designed by Dr Emma Vermeeren, qualified veterinarian and Delta-certified dog trainer, to be the only dog training and behaviour resource you will need 🐾

This 6 week Course will help you turn your unruly puppy into an obedient adolescent. The Course consists of:
✅ 4x weekly practical classes
✅ Self-paced online modules to enhance what is taught in class
✅ Online Live Zoom sessions with Dr Emma
✅ Facebook Support Group

Term 4 Locations & Practical Class Start Dates:
- Naracoorte - starting Thursday 17th of October
- Kingscote - starting Tuesday 22nd of October @6.30pm
- Keith - starting Saturday 26th of October
- Bordertown - starting Monday 4th of November
- Online Only is available for those that prefer it or cannot make it to the practical classes

There's some theory work to do prior to the practical classes starting so make sure you enroll ASAP to get started. Places are limited and enrolment is required to confirm your place in the class 📖

It’s challenge season!! So as most of my wonderful clients are already aware, I compete in Stockmans challenges on this lovely steed here, Pacho. Which means this time of year becomes very busy on the weekends for me. Plus the farm gets busier too!

So classes will be few on weekends, however, with more light of an evening classes will be moved to weeknights and on weekends days where possible.

Basic obedience and intermediate will start up again in a week or so (so keep an eye on here) and the next round of Puppy Foundation will start in a few weeks for prac classes, but enrolments will open this week.

I will keep updating on here as much as possible and hopefully figure out times and days that suit clients needs as best as I can.

🐾 CLASS UPDATE / FUTURE TRAINING UPDATE 🐾

Due to an average weather forecast there will be no classes tomorrow unfortunately.

Coming into this month the weekends are filling up and things are getting busier. There will be no training next weekend either (7th & 8th) as I will be away. And will post regular updates for the availability of weekend training sessions.
I will be resuming evening sessions once we have more daylight to work with and am offering training throughout the week until then, Friday mornings at 9:30am for any level of training.

If your interested in a weekday class (or prefer another day) please get in contact directly 🐶

As it’s meant to be wet tomorrow we will start training a little earlier in the hopes we avoid the rain! Make sure you bring a rain coat just incase.

It’s been a hectic start to the year with an unusual harvest season! 🌾 🚜

Unfortunately the weather is dragging out the process, which in turn makes running classes hard to schedule!

Hopefully soon harvest will be done and dusted and we can get back to some kind of normal schedule 🙏🏼 🐶

For now I’ll be in contact regarding the classes I have currently running on when we can make that happen. As for all the other wonderful clients who have touched base regarding classes, I will have a start date soon! Thank you for your patience and keep an eye out for a post soon with some start dates for our Puppy Foundation Course, Basic Obedience Course, and Intermediate Course 🐾 ✨🤍
