Hens are 18mths old and ready for new homes, so re-homing is happening now. They are still laying well. Remember to bring your own boxes to take them home in. 1082 Boddingtons road west 8.30-10.30 saturday 8th February and 9.30-11.30 Sunday 9th February.. First in basis and we have had a lot of interest. Please don't interrupt the people in the house as they have nothing to do with the chooks. Please see comments for full details.

How do you have your goode paddock eggs? Try them poached on sourdough with baby spinach, bacon and cooked banana. There is a bit of division in our house about this combo, but I love it.

Did you know the girls never have a day off from laying, so we have been collecting every day. Hope you have all enjoyed the christmas season with family and friends and eaten lots of Goode Paddock eggs!!! Thank you all for your support in 2018 and we are looking forward to growing in 2019. A few photos below - Its starting to warm up and the paddocks are looking a bit dry but we are lucky to have access to water so we leave the sprinklers running for the girls and still have plenty of green pick . Our new puppies are growing up and learning how to protect the feathered girls and sometimes the chooks like to think they should catch a ride in the collection ute...
