It's our one month anniversary! 🥳 Our new salon journey at Shop 3/20 Main St Narangba 🐶

It has already been one whole month since we moved into our new location and acquired the clients and staff of Dogge Avenue & Co!

It has been a very busy, very crazy, but very awesome first month!

We are just now starting to get our feet back on the ground and we are getting used to this massive change and growth.

Thank you for your patience 🙏

As I'm sure you can imagine, this merge has been very hectic for us and we have tried our hardest to minimize the impact it has had on our clients and the pets in our care. So we thank you so much for being patient with us as we navigated through this uncertain stage.

New safety procedures added 🦺

One of the most important changes we made as soon as we moved location was to add extra safety measures for your pets. This included an extra gate in reception, 2 crate-free penned areas for your pups to enjoy, and extra policies and recording procedures to make sure we have all of your information correct.

New recording and follow up system added ✍

We are currently in the process of implementing a recording system, so that we have your pets clipping details in your records. We already have this system for the home-salon clients, but this will be a welcomed change for our new clients. We will record at your groom what clipping style we will perform so that we don't have to ask you every time what you would like with your groom.

You will also now receive an automatic message reminder to book grooming 8 weeks after your last groom, if you have not yet booked.

New time slots and grooming duration ⏲

Our general rule is that your pet will be at the salon for 2 hours per pet. THIS IS A GENERAL RULE. We may go under this, and we sometimes might have to go over this.

We have implemented a time slot function on our booking system to minimize double bookings. But please note that sometimes things come up that are out of our control (we are after all working with unpredictable animals) and we may go over the time estimate we have given you. We only ever need to do this to ensure the safety of your pet and so that we can offer a high quality service.

If you rush us, this will only result in a risk to your pets safety and the grooming quality. ⚠

So please understand, YOUR PET IS SAFE AND CONTENT IN OUR CARE. We will never keep a pet longer than needed and will never put them in harms way. Please trust us and the process. 💕

We DO not charge a late pick up fee ❌

We have removed the late pick up fee that was implemented to Dogge Avenue & Co clients earlier this year. We can't give you an exact pick up time that your pet will be ready (as explained above) and so we can't expect you to also stick to an exact pick up time.

We do charge a no show fee ✔

Please note that your automatic reminder message the day before your appointment is a COURTESY ONLY. It does not mean if you ignore us we will know you can't make your booking. Please show common courtesy and just inform us if you can't make your appointment. We are very lenient with our cancellation policy and understand things come up last minute. All we ask is for communication so that we can fill your spot if you can't make it.

Welcome to the pack Toby! 🐕

Today was our last day at Elmwood Crt and I had a ball hand stripping Toby and grooming the other puppies!

The backyard salon has been amazing and I will miss the cute little place 🥰

But tomorrow we are on to bigger and better things and will no longer be trading from my home address (yay!)

We look forward to seeing you all at Shop 3 / 20 Main St Narangba from now on 🥳

⚠ We have some very exciting news!! ⚠

We are Moving! 🥳🤗 But only 5 minutes away!

Stylist to the Dogs has outgrown the backyard salon!

I have purchased the local grooming salon Dogge Avenue at Shop 3, Main St Narangba and we will be merging the businesses and operating from this address from 11th February.

As you would know, Stylist to the Dogs has been growing and growing over the past couple years. Covid produced 1 million more pet dogs into Australia and this caused the grooming industry to boom, and in turn caused a groomer shortage!

We have continued to keep up with the extra demand by expanding as we need, and now has come the time for us to relocate to a larger, more accessible premise!

🐶 Nothing will change (Except the location) 🐶

We want this transition to be as smooth as possible for all our existing clients and would like to ensure you that everything will remain the same at the new location.

These things will remain the same for existing clients:

Operating days and pick up and drop off procedures
Staff and groomers
Free play area for the dogs
Flexible, understanding and personal service
Great customer service
Reminder and follow up texts
Recurring bookings and online booking system*
Dog safety and care top priority

*The only thing changing will be improvements! Such as our brand new booking system that will make your booking process even easier and error-proof! More information on this to come.

If you have a booking already for 11th February onwards, we will be in contact via text message to confirm the new address and we can answer any questions you may have.

Please rest assured that your pups will still receive the same level of care that they always have at Elmwood Crt. We are excited for this move as it will mean more space, more air con, and safer pick up and drop off for your dogs!

We always strive to improve and this move will mean exactly that for us, you and your dogs.

⚠ REMINDER: OUR CANCELLATION POLICY ⚠

As we get into the busy period before Christmas I would like to remind everyone of our cancellation policy. Please be respectful and courteous and give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your booking.

We are a small business and if you don't show up to your booking, or cancel with less than 24 hours notice, we will lose income for that day.

All we ask is that you value our time and remember when you have made a booking.

We send a COURTESY reminder message the day before. If you need to cancel after this message has been sent, you will be charged a $25 cancellation fee.

Please understand why as a small business we must enforce this small and lenient cancellation poloicy. If you do not appreciate this and don't see our time as valuable, then we are not the groomer for you.
