**Employment opportunity**
We are looking for another person to join our small team here at Cat’s Cradle. Employment would be on a permanent, part time basis starting from 15 hours/week with pay rates as according to the miscellaneous award. The position is for an ‘all rounder’ in our facility. Duties will include cleaning the cat rooms, feeding, monitoring cat health and well being as well as reception duties - answering phones and emails, processing bookings and greeting customers checking in / out their cat. Hours are 7am - 10am and 2pm - 5pm over a 7 day roster.

Previous experience is preferred but not essential. We are looking for genuine animal lovers who are confident around cats. Full training will be provided.

The ideal applicant will be / have:

- Previous experience (preferred but not essential)
- Confidence around cats
- Flexible with shifts over a 7 day roster including weekends and public holidays, school holidays, Easter and Christmas.
- Reliable and punctual
- Trustworthy
- Have a reasonable level of physical fitness
- Good attention to detail
- Good communication and exceptional customer service skills are essential
- Effective time management skills
- Driver’s licence and own transport
- Experience using computer programs

There will be periods where up to full time hours are required during peak times and for staff holiday cover.

A busy week here! Silly season is not far away! Please bear with us if you’ve been trying to contact us. NBN have been ‘upgrading’ our fixed wireless tower, only it hasn’t been working right ever since (10 days now), with lots of drop outs happening - this cuts off our voip phone too. All of our booking system, emails and phone all need wifi!! Hopefully they can get it sorted soon!

The lovely Ash has been a guest of ours recently. He was a very sweet, quiet natured boy. Sadly, his elderly owners have had a change in circumstance and are no longer able to care for him. Please contact Eatons Hill Veterinary Surgery if you can offer him a loving home.

UPDATE: “Ash” has been adopted!

Introducing handsome “Ash” our 7.5 year old grey tabby cat! “Ash” was originally adopted from us in 2022 and was sadly returned to us this week for rehoming. Unfortunately one of his elderly owners has become unwell and they can no longer care for “Ash”. We don’t know much about “Ash’s” early beginnings as he was brought into us in 2022 as a stray with invalid microchip details. He’s now on the lookout for a new home where he can be the one and only love of your life. “Ash” is a friendly and affectionate boy, but on his own terms, and will tell you once he’s had enough. Due to this, he would do best in a home without young humans. He adores his food and is a very easy going guy who can’t wait to live out the rest of his days being well cared for and kept safe. “Ash” has learnt how to occupy himself over the years and is past the point of being fussed about too much. He’s happy to spend his days snoozing away and receiving a few pats and scratches here and there. If you have room in your heart and home for a rescue cat like “Ash”, please call us today on 3264 7700! 💙🐾

Adoption Cost:
“Ash’s” adoption fee is $150. He is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea treated and vet checked.
