495 DAYS AT THE SHELTER 💔

Teddy has been at our shelter for 495 days but we know that there is a home out there for him. He would love to either be adopted permanently, or go to a temporary (foster) home. PLEASE SHARE to help his face reach his new forever or temporary family.

"Hi there, my name is Teddy and I am writing to you with a Bark-To-English-Translator because I was told that my paws are too big for the keyboard.

My friends call me a cuddle bug because I melt into them and I flop over for maximum belly rubs when they pat my head. As a dog of luxury, I certainly enjoy being pampered and if you massage me, I might even fall asleep!

I am a huge fan of toys and I make the shelter humans laugh and smile because I take my favourite toys on walks with me.

I can sit like a good boy and drop to the floor like a dancer in a club and I tell myself I am as smart as Einstein even though I don't study quantum mechanics. I prefer to learn about all the wonderful toys there are in the world!

As a food connoisseur, I will never turn down a delicious treat or even what other dogs would call 'boring' dry or wet food!

I am a little particular with people though and it will take me a bit of time to get used to you. My new humans may even need to meet me a few times at the shelter before taking me home so I can learn how amazing you are.

I am also quite selective with other animals so I am looking for a new home as an only pet please and no little people as I prefer for the snacks and toys to be fairly distributed to myself only.

Tick Paralysis and Serum Shortage
The tick serum shortage is now critical. We had two full bottles of serum and have shared one bottle with another clinic who had none. If your pets are not on prevention and are afflicted with tick paralysis it is now likely that we will not have serum left to treat them.
Tick paralysis will result in the death of pets.
We have had one owner elect euthanasia this morning for their severely tick affected pet. It is heartbreaking.

Please use a reputable tick prevention on your pets. We recommend Bravecto.
